The defender never once tripped, he actually changed his body angle when Cam slid to intentionally hit him. He even lowered his helmet to hit Cam. That is the definition of a dirty hit.

While everyone's talking about the Matthews penalty, something I don't think people are mentioning as much, the Packers "won" the game. Crosby hit that FG but the timeout cancelled it out, and obviously missed the 2nd time.

I know it happens all the time, but I've always hated that "icing the kicker" stuff in football.

But something else not talked about as much, the Packers passed 2 plays in their 2nd last possession of regulation. Both were incomplete. I get you have Rodgers and all, but if they ran even 1 play, that's a timeout the Vikings have to use. Probably would've used their other timeout during their possession (unless Packers ran both times) so they'd have 0 during that FG.

Each team gets two timeouts to start overtime.

Packers didn’t “win” anything, they gave that game away, bad call aside.

I was impressed with the Defense though, especially from the Rookies.

                Agree here.

Kenny Clark said he was gassed at the end of the game.

                I hope our safeties improve.

                  That's pretty awesome.

As for the Giants...Man, Eli's gonna get injured at some point if that line continues to be this bad.

Can't wait for the Jags vs Chief in week 5. Sad that no one is going to see it because the Cowboys are on SNF and doubt NBC will flex them out. CBS has a single header that week also, so it's at 1PM.

Yeah, me too. I have a friend at work that’s a Chiefs fan; I cannot wait to pull up at work with my Jaguar swag that Monday morning after we drag their QB down to earth a little bit.

Kevin King might be the most important player on the defense. because once King got hurt and House came in that's when Cousins really started going up and down the field. House was as bad as Treadwell yesterday.

Brice wasn't any better than House, either.

Watch from the angle you see at around the :57 mark...you clearly see the defender's feet sliding across the turf. If anything, it looked to me like he was trying to avoid Newton. I heard the uproar over the hit and went to find it...was surprised at what the hit was.

One foot slipped but Kazee already planted and turned into Cam once he started his slide. I don't know that he meant to go into Cam's helmet, but he wasn't trying to avoid him.

Not to mention the guy put his head down into the hit before his foot slipped/tripped.
