Now it's about "developing" Jackson. He's the future.

Blah blah... Heard this a bunch of times.

Anyways, Ravens fans better hope this ride with Jackson and the option offense doesn't turn into a total pumpkin or there's going to be a conniption fit from the fanbase. I mean, I know there's a lot of people that don't care for Flacco but I think he's still a solid QB and given the right situation he can do well.

Funny how a Ravens player on the sidelines was chastising fans for wanting Flacco in the game.

This could get ugly next year.

Maybe Flacco should just run out there and see what happens.

I guess the Chargers defense decided to head to the airport early.

Now, the Baltimore offense is going to tack a bunch of garbage time yards on to make it look like they did a lot better than they actually did.

                  Well then.

Good response by Jackson. Way to keep fighting, kid.

What would playing him today have to do with getting him off their books this offseason?

If he played today, literally nothing changes his status going into the offseason (or Jackson's for that matter).

But to add. They want to move on. They don't want any pull back. Anything to have to bring that money back on the books. They will cut him the first chance they get.

It wouldn't be the first time an NFL team has moved on from a fan favorite in the offseason.

Even if he came in, led a miraculous comeback, and took them through to the Super Bowl, they could still move on from him since they want to go forward with Jackson.

We all know how much Flacco makes. He’s still on that elite QB contract but it doesn’t change the fact that whether he plays tonight or not has no bearing on the offseason

                                Wait...

So if Flacco were to have played, the Ravens would be forced to keep him and this salary on their books?

I’m confused by your argument here.
