Dak isn’t an All-Pro and will likely never be in the top tier of QBs, but I don’t see any reason you can’t win a Super Bowl with him.

Re: NFC Divisional Round Games Thread
If he gets paid like a top tier, then it hurts the team as others have to get cut or not signed because of it. If he gets paid in the low 20s, then ok, but pushing 30+ will hurt them

Re: NFC Divisional Round Games Thread
Man, I am so sick of fans like this. When we lose, it's "get rid of Garrett and Prescott, they suck" but nothing else offered as a suggestion. Just straight up admit you're biased at this point. That's too generous. Both of those guys can hit a retriever in stride.
Dallas seemed to make no defensive adjustments, never adjusted to the three running plays they saw over and over.
An NFL team cannot win with a combination like Garrett and Prescott...can't have those two positions be such glaring weaknesses.
I get it. It's way easier to blame the coach and the 3rd year QB than it is to straight up admit the Rams whipped Dallas. They played harder, they played smarter (minus a few brain farts from Peters), and deserved to win, end of story. Dallas isn't at that level. But they only lost by 8 points with such a glaring deficiency at QB and HC in your eyes....
Why did Dallas go 4-12 when Tony Romo was unavailable in 2015? They even used your boy Matt Cassel that year.... but I don't recall many wins. Let me guess, "because Garrett sucks."
Well, how did they beat Seattle, who many say have a better QB and coach than Dallas, and arguably the Rams? Did they out-coach them, out-talent them, or was it just dumb luck in your eyes? Maybe it was Dallas's dominant HFA?
They've won double digit games in 2 of the last 3 years (and 9 in the year they didn't despite below-average defenses in 2 of those 3 years), yet "you can't win a combination like Garrett and Prescott...."
The Eagles won a damn Super Bowl with Nick Foles....would you seriously rather have Foles than Dak? Not every coach is Bill Belichick or Tom Landry or Bill Walsh or whoever the hell you want.
This has been repeated ad nauseam but you don't quite seem to understand that Garrett doesn't call plays or coordinate either side of the ball. Problem with the offense? Blame Linehan. Problem with defense? Blame Richard/Marinelli. What adjustment was Garrett supposed to make yesterday that he didn't? The Rams controlled the trenches. They had better players, were fresher, and had a great plan on offense and defense. Wade Phillips eliminated Zeke and forced Linehan to play left-handed like all great defensive coaches do.
Garrett is a culture guy. He sets the tone and delegates the X's and O's to the assistants. No one gives him one ounce of credit for him axing Paul Alexander during the bye, or the numerous good calls he has made during the draft process in recent years. Design of the offense has been this team's problem and limited its ceiling. Better offense could have netted an extra win or 2 or 3 and this game might have been in Dallas instead of LA...not that it would have mattered if their line play was going to be that bad.Comment
