    Re: Week 14 Discussion Thread

The last three weeks have definitely sealed the fact that the 49ers are the most exciting team to watch in the NFC.

              Key to beating the Patriots:

              *No DPI
              *Cover Edelman closely

              So much for that.

              Addendum: don't throw INT's

Their entire first drive offense was 2 PIs and a trick play. Not super concerned about the defense yet. I feel like in the past 5 runs would have been 30+ yards.

                The offense however...

Yeah toe to toe with a SB favorite... I’ll take it. I thought the defense could hang but that was impressive even with high expectations.

Ravens defense really brought the heat and stopped any momentum JA and the Bills offense have had. Singletary is still such a dynamo and Beasley is so reliable, but they erased John Brown. Great clean pass defensed to end it. Some tough drops by the Bills.

Thought Ravens should’ve ran Gus Edwards more. He seemed to be gaining on every carry whereas Ingram was up and down with nothing big. Defense was super disciplined against Jackson, but so were the Ravens on JA. Hardly saw any running from Allen for gain, maybe the ankle contributed to that too.

Fun game, would love a rematch!!

What makes you think QBs aren’t learning it?

That’s something you’re taught at the HS level.

Romo calls it perfectly. Guy gets beat but happens to be in the right place at the right time and gets the pick on Brady.

.... When I QB they never taught that. It was actually frowned upon. I went to several camps across the country. When I did. It was always brought up.... Always...

It's probably one of those things where they're saying "Don't start doing this before learning to throw overhand first," if that makes sense.

Master the necessary one, then get the other ones going. I don't think a QB camp is enough time to teach a proper sidearm through. I know if I ran a baseball or softball camp, I wouldn't be showing 2B and 3B how to throw from different slots.

I’ve done the same thing as well, Jeebs and coached HS as well(Maryland 4A ball, highest level in the state)and it’s definitely taught.
