Man it's the craziest thing when someone gets to that level and everything is ripped from them. But not because their too big or too small. Literally your body saying no. And it's not like you can work hard to fix this problem or eat a different way. This isn't similar to LaMarcus Aldridge, Chris Bosh, Isaiah Austin and many others. I always feel really bad. It's just nuts.

Aside from the ones mentioned, there was a kid Pitt recruited a few years ago, 4 star player, who when they did their medicals, found he had a heart condition and couldn't play.
Health is first and foremost since these are young guys, but man having that taken from you like you said.Comment

"The #Ravens are close on a trade of fifth-round pick CB Shaun Wade, the former Ohio State standout, to the #Patriots, sources. A high-ceiling player likely added to New England’s secondary."
"For Wade, the Ravens are getting from the Patriots a 7th-round pick in 2022 and a 5th-round pick in 2023."Last edited by illwill10; 08-26-2021, 01:38 PM.Comment

Sounds like it’ll be official soon that Jameis Winston has won the Saints QB1 spot over Taysom Hill.
I’m 50/50 on if he can be the QB he was drafted to be. There’s a bunch of factors that say he can be (better team, coaching, eye surgery) and a bunch of tape that says we already know he isn’t.
This toss up proposition is exactly why I love football. We can talk about why or why not, but we won’t KNOW until the games are played. Storylines are great but it always boils down to what happens on the field.NHL - Philadelphia Flyers
NFL - Buffalo Bills
MLB - Cincinnati Reds

I heard people compare it to Katrina 16 years ago, and this happens to fall on the anniversary too. Hopefully not, but obviously scary to think about once you start seeing its already getting bad enough to cancel things in the area.Comment

Fire up the Gus Bus! I hope Baltimore gives him all the run if Dobbins is cooked. They just paid him 5M a year this off-season to stay in Baltimore, and this is why. They’ve got other RB who can fill in here or there in other roles and that one guy under center is still the X factor to that rushing attack.NHL - Philadelphia Flyers

Same here. But I will think of Jesse Palmer and Rex Grossman switching out every single play (under Steve Spurrier for the Gators). Not the same situation. College is one thing. But in the pros. I feel like the decision from the coach happens way faster in pros. Should be fun. I think Jimmy will win the short game and Lance will win the long game. Just my guess.Hands Down....Man Down - 2k9 memories

Who could Cam land with? Seems like Baltimore would be the best fit given his current skill set but who knows.Bills, Sabres, Illini, Cubs, basically any team that abuses its fanbase and I'm there.Comment
