Hidden indicator - Any time Allen catches a pass in the end zone, we lose in heartbreaking fashion. He did it in the Texans Wild Card game, he did it in the Hail Murray game, and he did it tonight.

The key were all those drives that petered out in the first half. Without building a big lead, the Titans can just keep hammering Henry and that's what they did.
100% agree. I don’t get it. If you convert with a sneak you have one timeout I believe and at most 2-3 plays. While the field position is awesome, the face it doesn’t lead to a guaranteed to by converting leaves me scratching my head. Take the FG and go to ot. At worst, you end up exactly where they ended up.

I don’t know if McDermott trusted we could stop Henry in OT if we didn’t get the ball. The Bills defense has been really good but they scored 34 points in this game. This one just didn’t work out.

The time isn’t as much an issue here because the plays are short and the players can get reset for a spike quickly.

We have a great, powerful running QB and called the sneak... he slipped. What ya gonna do?

We lost this game earlier on mistakes and not finishing drives, and then on getting gashed by Henry. Our team defense is built to defend the pass and rush the passer — not many teams have THAT GUY lining up in the backfield. It’s why they were able to make an AFCCG run. Teams aren’t built for that type of attack, and it bit us.

The AFC hierarchy gets another shake up. Baltimore moves to the 1 spot. Lamar is looking like he simply won’t let teams beat them. Those heroics worry me, but also I don’t know if he can keep doing it so often. He’s gotta be the MOST VALUABLE player.

For me, the issue is that you don't pass up the kick unless you've got a great goalline play in mind for the possible 1st down afterwards.

And if you've got a great play that will work from the 2, run it on 4th from the 2.5. On 4th, Tennessee still has to respect the threat of a short conversion so they will have to clog the middle. If you've converted the 1st and used the timeout, they don't have to respect the run as much.

Its the postseason that concerns me. During the regular season teams don't typically gameplan around opponents as much. The focus is more on "follow our identity, do what we do." If you're a man blitz team you're gonna man blitz the Ravens. If you're a cover 3 team thats what you'll do.
Playoff time its more tailor a gameplan for your opponent.

It flips the situation if you think about it. During the regular season defenses going against Lamar see things they don't see any other time. But in playoffs its Lamar who is seeing things he hasn't seen before.
