I think there are some baseball teams that are worse, like the Pirates and Marlins. The Lions are at least trying.

The Saints with 4th and Inches and go for it inside their own 35, down 10. Sean Payton is out of ****s to give tonight!

Marlins have two WS in the last 24 years, how far are we going? Made the playoffs in 2020 (albeit in a shortened season).

Pirates last made the playoffs proper in 2013, the WC Game in 2014 and 2015. Pirates can be competent, they just are dirt poor (or at least act like it). In a league with a salary cap I bet they would be better than whatever garbage the Lions are doing.

Since 2008 the Lions have a 0-16 season, followed by a 2-14 season, also have gone 4-12, 3-12-1 and are 0-9-1 so far. Plus hall of famer players keep retiring in their prime

I would nominate the Sacramento Kings. Look at this. And their front office is bad, they keep firing good coaches and their owners are an absolute nightmare.

Minnesota Timberwolves would maybe be a good comparison. Two below average franchises for as long as I can remember.

Sean Payton runs a fake punt on 4th and 8 on his own side of midfield. I'm a Bills fan but I love to see a coach go all in.

Buddy, if you were in the area you probably could have played a few snaps for the Saints tonight. They were completely hollowed out by injuries. I'll take the W because lordy we needed it, but it doesn't really tell us much about either team IMO.

Yeah kinda a bummer because the Saints are falling apart with injuries, but I’ll still be happy with a W over a Sean Payton team that’s still decent. Especially in the fashion of the win, even if it’s an addition to our collection of blowouts over overmatched opponents. Taking care of the light work is only craved when you’re not doing it (hi Jacksonville). Nice to do it in front of everyone as Buffalo has been on the wrong end of talk of being fake contenders and soft. And we can’t let the Pats add distance in the standings. They’ve got a tough Titans game this week then we’ll see ‘em next week for MNF for first place in the East.

One amusing subplot of this season is watching the narrative on advanced stats totally flip on Buffalo. For Allen's first few years his metrics were awful and those analysts repeatedly dunked on Buffalo for taking him over Watson, Mahomes, and Jackson while his backers pointed it the eye test. Now in this year, our metrics are actually really good (Football Outsiders' DVOA specifically loves the Bills) but the eye test narrative is that we're terrible and overrated.

I would think at this level. You'd just switch it after not on the field

Really worried about the Browns game. Browns have the top rushing attack in the league and Baltimore has had some tackling problems. Getting Brandon Williams back is going to be huge for us.

                              Big week for AFC North.
                              Ravens/Browns
                              Steelers/Bengals

The remaining schedule for every team in the AFC North is tough. I'm not sure if any team has a game where they will be a clear favorite.

Ravens - Brownsx2, Steelers x2, Bengals, Packers, Rams
Bengals - Steelers, Chargers, 49ers, Broncos, Ravens, Chiefs, Browns
Steelers - Bengals, Ravensx2, Vikings, Titans, Chiefs, Browns
Browns - Ravensx2, Raiders, Packers, Steelers, Bengals

All 4 teams might be in it until the final two weeks of the season.

Quick glance at remaining schedules across the conference, Titans have the easiest path to number one seed.

On paper definitely, but Tennessee outrageously injured right now. Pulling Golden Tate and AP off the couch is as desperate as I've ever seen.
