    Re: 2022 Offseason Thread

There were a lot of people joking that the Bills should take a run at DK Metcalf and now I'm wondering if that's a legit possibility
Bills, Sabres, Illini, Cubs, basically any team that abuses its fanbase and I'm there.

Even without hindsight it raised a few eyebrows. Two firsts for a safety?

I can see it for an elite centerfield type safety but like will said, Adams is a box safety. Maybe I can see it if its a put-you-over-the-hump kind of move but that wasn't Seattle.

I would have liked another 2nd and 3rd being tossed in instead of Fant. They had another 2nd from the Miller trade.

He'll implode in Seattle without a veteran to reign him in.

.. Wagner's All-Pro days are probably behind him, but he is a guy that could really move the needle for a team looking to get to the Super Bowl.

What are the Colts doing at QB now? This leaves a massive hole there for them, and these picks don’t include a 1st round pick (and they don’t have their own this draft), so who can they go get?

Wentz back in the East is absolutely delicious.

My guess is Jimmy G will be their top target if they go the trade route.

They could also have a plan to try trade back into the late first round for a QB. With how teams with top picks are going after trade targets instead of planning on a drafting a QB it tells me teams aren't overly hot on the QB class and some could really fall.

Unless they are going to rely on the picks they got from this trade, I question the wisdom of trading away Wentz before his replacement is signed

Agreed but I think there is something about this story we don’t know.

Actually, it sounds like they’re keying in Love now and he would be easy to acquire. Makes sense (regardless of how he does or will be but explains why they were quick to dump Wentz).
