Now the next question...do the Packers actually take a WR with the 1st?

I think Davante knows that once Rodgers is gone the Packers could be in the wilderness for a QB for who knows how long. He got out a year early instead of 4 years late, to put it how teams refer to cutting good players before their decline.

Still, Carr is good but he’s not Rodgers. I like a Adams but I think Rodgers took him to the next level. We’ll see.

This is going To be a extremely polarizing move if it happens and it’s going to split the fan base more then anything sports wise In the state. I’ve already see one of the major independent guys that covers the team resign because of it and I would expect more of that.

They passed up a couple QBs in last draft to get Darnold and immediately give him the 5th year. In theory, it was the right move to give him the 5th year. Rhule is in a must win now situation, so I can see them going after Jimmy G or Baker. They do have a good set of playmakers on offense.

They were never really in it to begin with. Watson had said AWHILE ago that he wouldnt waive his NTC for them

Watson was a Tepper fever dream. I'm convinced him keeping Rhule kept Watson from strongly considering Carolina. Tepper was willing to do whatever it took in terms of money/picks/players, but the move that may have secured it, he was too proud or ignorant to make.

Now I'm sure he's going to throw a hissy-fit and make some other stupid trade to get a lesser QB who won't make a difference

My bold prediction is that the Watson trade will go down in hindsight as one of the worst deals ever made by the team that gets him. He's not going to be worth whatever a team gives up for him and the move will set that team back a few years.

That's hilarious. That's like trying to replace your wife and expecting her to be okay with it lol

Just when you thought the Browns FINALLY got their franchise on the right track...unbelievable. They make the NY teams look efficient.

Saw the blockbuster trade involving Davante - the AFC will be ridiculous this season.

I tend to agree. I guess he could maybe have success with New Orleans at first but I’d say having the big lead that the Texans blew in the playoffs a few years ago vs KC will be the high water mark of his career

Would be pretty wild of him or any player to be thinking this far out, especially when you’re trying to win a ring.

Rodgers is here for at least 3 years so why the hell would he be worried about 2025 post Rodgers Era Packers?(not saying he is BTW, just talking out loud)
