Re: 2022 Offseason Thread
That or the Giants either. They have talent on defense. But they're a bad roster with a poor cap situation. Only positive is the 2 top 10 picks.
Denver definitely if they can trade for a QB. Miami almost falls into the same Category as Chicago or Jags because you have to be sold on Tua.
Vikings is a sneaky good job. Cousins is an above average QB, and only has 1 year left if you aren't sold on him. Skill players on offense. Still talented defense, though the stars are getting older. And depending on what happens with Rodgers, that division could be wide open post-Rodgers time.
I hesitate to put Tua alongside the others because there is a pretty solid team around him. He can underperform but the team can still finish above .500 and keep your job. Oh waitComment

"The #Panthers are expected to hire former #Giants HC and ex-#Packers OC Ben McAdoo as their offensive coordinator, sources say. They need to work out the contract, but there aren’t expected to be issues. McAdoo is back as an OC, where he initially rose to prominence.Comment

Re: 2022 Offseason Thread
Depends on preferences. I do prefer the CEO HC as opposed to the play calling HC, especially for young first time HCs. I just feel they are putting too much on their plate and almost need to hire an older former HC as a vital part of their staff for support.Comment

Re: 2022 Offseason Thread
I was unsure if all the injuries would give him one more year, but it seems not.
The two things that hurt him are the number of huge plays the defense gives up. This was an issue even before all the injuries started to pile up. Simply too many busted coverages.
The other thing are the blitzes. Ravens blitz A LOT but it is not efficient. We blitz a lot but it doesn't generate as much pressure. We are around top 5 in blitz frequency but near bottom 5 in hurry percentage
Easy to see how those two things combine for a poor showing.
I figured we would move on from one coordinator, but don't expect both. I just thought it might be Roman going instead of WinkLast edited by ggsimmonds; 01-21-2022, 07:19 PM.Comment

Third time is a charm, hopefully it works out better than their last two hires from KCComment
