    2022 Offseason Thread

Mans had 2 All Pro WRs, an all pro RB, a Top 10 Defense that’s been in place for most of the decade while playing 9-10 games in neutral conditions and hasn’t done **** but accumulate high stats and average records.

He is what he is at this point in his career and it’s only going to get worse.

Just know it’ll be straight 2nd/3rd place finishes as long as Mahomes/Herbert are in that division.

And if you’re worried about the long term, then skip both of them and draft a QB or trade for one of the other young QBs and go from there. Or run it back with Lock.

That leaves Mike McDaniel and Moore as the known Miami finalists.

If they want a offensive coach who might be willing to accept the defensive staff, Doug Pederson could be the guy. He's more into coaching then hiring staff.

Where he is, has been better than what Denver has had since Manning left. I dont even think we have had a QB top 20 pass Td's, anyone check that as i am unable too at the moment. (limited work internet)

If not Kirk, then maybe Mayfield or like you said run it with Lock. I like Drew lock, and I would like to see one year under the new coach to see if he can revive him.

              And what's your point?

Clearly you don't understand that even Baker is an upgrade over what has been stewing in Denver for the last 6 years.

You had a top 10 defense with Fangio. Defenses fluctuate naturally, and I wouldn't automatically assume the new guy can replicate Fangio's success. For his faults as a HC, the man can coach the hell out of a defense.

Patrick, Sutton, Jeudy, Williams, Gordon(?), Fant, Albert O. That's a heck of a lot more than just a few guys. All of those guys have proven they can play at a high level. Just need a guy to get them the ball, and with consistency.
I don't know that I agree. And to me it's not about whether Denver's guys can play well, but about whether they can play so much better than Minnesota's as to make Cousins better too.

Personally I think that if you drop Cousins on this Denver roster, your ceiling is a frisky 5-6 seed who loses in the divisional round.

As for Drew Lock, he's done in Denver. You can take a run at some other failed high pick QB like Winston or Trubisky if you don't get a top guy. But if Hackett tries to roll out Lock next year on opening day, he's gonna burn all his fan goodwill almost immediately.

NFC is going to be complete trash if Rodgers leaves Green Bay for the AFC

NFC North and NFC South would all essentially be rebuilding. NFC East is still bad. That just leaves NFC West as the above average division.
