Yeah well it isn't good.. defense is aging by the looks of it too there is no fixing that. and it seems to are putting offences into form each week now after teams play us browns Vikings now Bengals

we got the Jags and eagles coming up and Seattle twice and we NEVER win in Seattle. so there is another 3 losses coming up. the team will be 6-6 by Xmas time.

Crazy how bad the defense has looked for San Fran; these last 3 games they can’t get a stop when they need one.

The fact you think this is because the defense is "aging" tells me everything I need to know. So you think they all got into their twilight years right after the Dallas game? I think the more realistic reason is Wilks calls a **** game and doesn't have a clue what he's doing. His defensive identity was opposite of what this defense did so now he's come in trying to change his identity and mesh it while also being hands off up in the booth. We battered Dallas but let's be real their offensive line was banged up so we got pressure. We got dissected by Josh Dobbs for a half, Stafford for a half, Cousins all game, Burrow all game and even PJ Walker didn't have much trouble. This ****s been going on all year but was masked by our offense scoring 30 a game, then Trent and Deebo got hurt, we couldn't maintain drives and the defense was just exposed for longer stretches of time and this is what you get.

I think that's the biggest problem. They're defense went from top notch. To all of sudden everyone is slicing them. I think it has to do with Bosa. I think he's only got like 2 sacks or something like that. Which is insane.

It's not Bosa, he leads the league in QB hits. It has to do with playing constant zones and dropping too deep so the QB can get rid of it quicker then a 4 man rush can get there. Wilks calls plays as if he's literally petrified to get beat deep or even intermediate so he drops guys 10 yards deep and rarely blitzes. If we continue to just let teams dink and dunk all the way down the field then we aren't stopping anyone. He seems hell bent on a "bend but don't break" style but it isn't working and he refuses to adjust.

that first drive they had 3 chances to sack burrow and missed him and let him convert a 3rd and 10 then 2 dumb penalties and from there it was downhill.

the Defense has been a bit overrated actually during this last 4 years. they let scrambling QBS run them over. that is why guys like Mahomes Wilson Hurts Jackson have always been great in the 2nd half against the niners. but now they are letting pocket passers like Cousins throw it everywhere now which shows the aging they are getting worse. Bosa has gone missing the window is just about closed for this defense in winning a super bowl and have blow it the last few years now by blowing 10 point leads in super bowls and Championship games.

Debo missed time last year too. so I am not blaming injuries at all.

Purdy is turning into Mark Ssanchez. a player that fluked a lot of wins early on in his career being a lucky game manager and then hits reality of what they really are.

Best of luck with your in depth analysis. Not a clue how you're even a fan of this team honestly.

I get it I am suppose to be all positive and talk about how they will win the next 10 games now and show blind faith to be a 'real fan' right?

Well you could try actually giving analysis that holds any factual evidence not just "we get beat by scrambling QB's years ago and our defense is aging" when you weren't screaming that when we were 5-0. Scrambling QB's are always difficult to contain, you act like it's just a Niners problem. Then you gave examples meanwhile we haven't faced Russ in 3 years, cant remember last time we played Lamar, we haven't faced Mahomes in years but if you were to be believed you'd think we faced them every season and failed miserably.

Not to mention every time something bad happens youre the first one to scream how they're frauds, terrible, won't win anything Shanahan should be fired and the list goes on.

3rd and long shotgun play fake to the fullback who only carries the ball when all the other backs leave due to injury, interesting play choice

Anyways I'm done debating this. SF has issues and Purdy is still raw and improving, he tends to force things at times like most young QB's do but he's not the reason they're losing. The front office didn't address the biggest area of concern in the offseason which was the offensive line and then the secondary and instead elected to keep stacking on defense by signing Hargrave. Trent's replacement today got eaten alive by Hendrickson and if it wasn't for Purdy showing an ability to navigate the pocket and escape the game would have been far worse but, hey, he's Mark Sanchez 2.0
