    • Trevor Lawrence - regressed last year, but will probably be OK.
    • Zach Wilson - likely to be traded, if not released.
    • Trey Lance - traded
    • Justin Fields - likely to be traded
    • Mac Jones - traded
    For me,

Lawrence- got hyped up as a generation prospect after his Freshman year. I don't he'll ever live up to that billing.
Wilson- BYU had weaker competition then, and scouts fell in love with the "arm talent". Wasn't be getting Aaron Rodgers comps are something crazy like that. Comps gets teams in trouble
Lance- Only played 1 game his final year. He got boosted because Carson Wentz had initial success coming out of NDSU and Lance had the Measurables and Traits.
Jones- felt like his stock skyrocketed off of the Tua buzz and throwing to all the talented Alabama WRs.
Fields-I don't know. Maybe some guys need more development. In College, coaches are paid to win games, not developing. And Nowadays, the NFL isn't as a patience anymore with QBs. Before, QBs were given until their rookie contracts are up before teams fully give up on them. Now, they give them just 2-3 years and admit their mistakes early

I was thinking the same thing earlier. I don't remember, was this regarded as a great class for QBs going in to the draft? 5 guys going in the top 15 and 4 of them most likely on different teams three years later is alarming

Bears sign Kevin Byard for two years $15 million. Not a sexy move but they need a FS and don't have much draft capital

I think he can still be a solid starter. Getting traded in season and the disaster that the Eagles Defense became, he was a "Just a Guy" player. Where he wasn't bad, but wasn't impactful. He was just out there

I'm fine with a just a guy signing. I know they have a lot of cap space , but if I'm putting the team together I'm trying to fill most holes with guys like Byard that won't kill you if they're a starter. Maybe make one big splash signing and then you can approach the draft where you take the best player that will help you instead of worrying about whether someone will fall to you because you need them to fill a need

It's been a wild ride for Baker, but he's made it to the bank now.

No, I don’t think it was as highly regarded as that class. Just seems crazy that, like you said, three years later and four of the five will likely have been jettisoned by the teams that drafted them.

Man, it was highly regarded as that type of class. They all had hype.

Had to happen, injury concerns and he refused to restructure his contract while I believe a healthy portion of it wasn't guaranteed. I assume it'll be a post June 1st release so they can split the dead money between the next two years. Denver is releasing DJ Jones so wouldn't be at all shocked if SF tried to bring him in as a direct replacement, pursue either Bosa or Hunter to pair opposite Nick Bosa and then after releasing Armstead post 6/1 they announce the new contract for Aiyuk.

"Elite" is a stretch, for sure, but they were 6th in points allowed at 19.1 per game, and that team went 10-7 with a pathetic offense that did the defense absolutely no favors.

The corners Peterson (whom has thankfully been let go) and Wallace (who I hope like hell is going to be let go) couldn't cover, tackle and in regards to Peterson was too slow.

This defense is from what I can remember one of, if not the highest paid in the NFL, but yet in back to back games at home mind you they lost to not one but two below 500 teams...
The offense scored 10 and 18 points in those games. It's an offensive league, if the offense can't run way out in front and give the defense a large lead to protect or sit on the football in key moments, you'll lose even to lesser opponents. Pitt was 6th in points allowed and 6th in Defensive DVOA (https://www.ftnfantasy.com/articles/...3-dvoa-ratings) so I'm not sure what you're looking for. The Legion of Boom?
Bills, Sabres, Illini, Cubs, basically any team that abuses its fanbase and I'm there.

I mean for that type of money, why not give it a shot. If he can throw for 20+ TDs it'll be an improvement over the last couple years. I think it means Kenny is done though imho.
