    The injury is scaring me.
If Robert Turbin is available in your league, pick him up. That way, you can roll with Lynch and not sweat it since they will announce if he is playing or not in plenty of time for you to sub in Turbin for him.

However, if Turbin isn't available then I would roll with Gerhart just to be safe.

I would be starting Colston but he has a foot issue. Not sure how it will effect his performance.
Check the injury report in the morning and if Colston is a go then he is a must play. If he isn't, at least you have a solid fall back plan.

What should i do for week 1?
Should i go with 3 recievers or 3 RB?

If i go 3 recievers i will start Jordy Nelson, Larry Fitz, Brandon Lloyd
If i go 3 RB i will start McCoy, Doug Martin, Donald Brown

I was thinking sitting Lloyd and starting Brown

        What backs to start?
I have lynch, mjd, Mathews, the backups for mjd and Mathews, then Tate. Obviously Mathews is out.

          Who should I start:
          Santonio Holmes, NYJ vs Bills

          OR

          Dwayne Bowe, KC vs Falcons

Right now, I have Santonio starting.

            Isaac Redman vs Donald Brown?

I have Mendenhall and Ryan Mathews on the bench, both out this week. Earlier in the week I was leaning towards Redman but the more I look into it, seems Dwyer will actually be getting the bulk of the carries for Pittsburgh this week. Brown may not touch the ball much or be very productive but at least I know he will be the main guy in the back field for Indianapolis.

So it basically comes down to Brown vs. Lloyd. I would go with Brown myself as he is guaranteed to get more touches and is the safer play, but Lloyd has more upside this particular week.

Ronnie Brown (Matthews' backup) is a solid play this week for sure. He is a no brainer. I think Tate will also have a really big game this week not only due to the fact that Foster has a minor injury but also because the Dolphins are terrible and the Texans will be running a LOT.

Lynch is tricky, pick up Turbin if you can.

Not even trying to assess the Jags' situation though.

For me I probably go with Jags Def. Min offense is not proven and Denver has proved they can score points.

I would go with MJD because Gore and Brandon Phillips will get as many or more carries than Hunter.

Got a few choices for FLEX in both my leagues:

                          1)
-DeSean Jackson (I have Vick as my QB and we do get points for punt return stats)
-Doug Martin (Don't know if I want to start a rookie)
                          -Reggie Bush

                          2)
                          -Doug MArtin (See above)
-Stevan Ridley (With Vereen out he will get the bulk of carries and should get a TD at least)
-Kevin Smith (Should see bulk for Detroit)

Bush. Even though the Texans Run D is top-notch, he should get plenty of touches both out of the backfield and as a check-down for a rookie QB.

                              1. I think DeSean will be back this season. I'd go with him.
                              2. It's week 1 so he should be healthy and they are playing the Rams, so I think Kevin Smith is a good play this week with basically no one stealing carries.

                              MJD or Adrian Peterson?
I'd wait to see how Peterson's knee is before starting him, so MJD by default.

                                1. Desean, but really between him an Reggie it is so close you could just flip a coin. But when Desean and Vick are both healthy that can be deadly QB/WR combo for you, I'd go with that this week.

                                2. I say roll with the rookie Doug Martin, give him a shot this week. I don't see Ridley or Smith having huge games(although they very easily could and will both see most of the snaps, especially Smith). So you might as well take the chance on Martin this week, he probably has the most upside.
