Re: 2014 OS "Who To Start" Thread
Well with Leveon Bell out I need to make some RB decisions and Flex decisions. I can start 2 RB 3 WR and 1 flex
I have at RB
Forsett
Crowell
CJ Anderson
Morris
Lamar Miller
Then for WR I got
Jeffery
Tate
Dez Bryant
Fitzgerald
Torrey Smith
Right now I got
Forsett Crowell at RB
Tate Bryant Jeffery at WR
Should I go Torrey Smith at flex? Anderson? Should I play Alfred Morris over Crowell?
So many decisions, what would you guys do with that roster?Buffalo Bills

I'd go
Forsett
Anderson
Bryant
Jeffery
Tate
Crowell
I could see Torrey Smith in over Crowell though... all its gonna take is a fumble on Sunday and Crowell is likely doneComment

Re: 2014 OS "Who To Start" Thread
Alright I'll go with KC. It seems like there's a better assurance for the Chiefs D than to hope for a mistake to happen in Philly.
But another question I have.... I always seem to pick the wrong kickers almost every week. What's your strategy when picking kickers? I tend to have a mentality of picking kickers who are on a good offensive team going up against a good defensive team, is this the right strategy? I have Matt Bryant (ATL) set for this week.
When you're saying you're starting x kicker, what does that mean? Do you pick up a new one every week to try to play the matchup? Is it just a bye week? Do you hold multiple kickers?
I'm wondering if that's even a successful or worthwhile strategy compared to just drafting/picking up a top ~7 guy and rolling with him all season. If you keep one guy it'll keep your waiver priority high and you have a good bet on what you're getting from him each game.
With that strategy it's quite often I don't get any of the top 7 or so guys, and end up trying out different ones through the season. Sometimes you find one that sticks, sometimes you play match ups for a while.

Forgot to add why, but my reason for this is because I like to stash guys or find surprise breakouts after the mid to late rounds. For example, I actually got Sammy Watkins pretty late and got to stash Knowshon Moreno, who was probably on his way to having an outstanding year if it wasn't for the injury.Last edited by whoahello; 11-21-2014, 03:50 PM.Comment

Re: 2014 OS "Who To Start" Thread
Not a great bye week for me here. Need help on two spots in a .25 PPR.
Pick 1
Owen Daniels vs NE
Niles Paul vs SF
Pick 1 at the flex:
Bishop Sankey vs PHI
Malcom Floyd vs SEA
Charles Sims vs CHI
Right now I have Daniels at the TE and Sankey at the flex. I'm considering using Niles at the flex. Pretty much a toss up all around though.Comment

With that said, I'd go with Daniels and Sims as well. Though I don't think there's much of a difference between Sims and Sankey for THIS week. And Paul could have a decent game if RG3 can get his head out of his ***, so your options are pretty close.Comment

T.Y. Hilton against JAx?
Or Emmanuel Sanders against Mia?
League is PPR
What worries me is Hilton plays first so the injury concernsComment

You mean Sanders' injury? Haven't heard of a TY injury and I think he's the better play anyway.Comment

Daniels is playing at New Orleans (NO), and Michael Floyd of the Cardinals is playing at Seattle.
