Maaaaaan, these were my options on two different teams:

Start 3 between Maclin, Beckham, Gordon, Jeffrey
Start 3 between Bryant, Julio Jones, Beckham, Gordon

Benched Jeffrey in the 1st and Jones in the 2nd. Had a feeling both would bite me... already half right, and with Bryant's so-so game, I see the other foot dropping.

Sad face, I didn't get a chance to change my lineup and started Gore and Boldin. 2 and 1 points gained respectively. Matt Prater made the day not a complete loss lol.

Got a feeling I'm losing this week. Guy I'm up against....

        Big Ben
        Jamaal Charles
        Le'Veon Bell
        Jordy Nelson
        T.Y. Hilton
        Rashad Jennings
        Giants D/ST

He already had Zac Ertz and Steven Hauschka go yesterday. He sat Stafford and the Eagles D, so I've got that going for me?

Don't like the matchup considering last week's outing. I have Gore and Latavius Murray rostered and could play either. I could pick up Ryan Matthews, Blount/Gray, or Terrance West.

Edit: could get Dan Herron too.
Mathews for me. Blount could be an add if you want to take a chance, Patriots will probably pound the rock and I'd think Blount gets the carries over Gray but you never know with Belichick

Odell Beckham Jr. or Antonio Brown?

Brown is the better player but the matchups definitely favor ODB. Bengals are second best vs the pass. I'm thinking Brown but maybe one of you can convince me to play ODB. My other two WRs are Jordy and Gordon.

Really need a quality QB in my two leagues. I have kaep in one who has been terrible as of late and Sanchez against seahawks. Should I put my fantasy playoff matchup in the hands of Johnny football?

As well as OBJ (apparently the preferred acronym though I like showing a little love for the Old Dirty Bastard) has been playing, Brown has arguably been the best WR in the league. He has been matchup proof. He's a lock for at least 10 targets and will get short and mid touches to make sure the ball is in his hands. I personally would sit Jordy or Gordon before Brown (and obviously wouldn't start ODB over either of them either).

Definitely not since Hoyer is starting. If I had those choices, I'd go with Sanchez.

Got another tough one this week in my PPR league.

Between 1 open RB slot and 2 Flex, I have:

                              Tre Mason (@ WSH)
                              Andre Ellington (vs KC)
                              Isaiah Crowell (vs IND)
                              Joique Bell (vs TB)
                              Keenan Allen (vs NE)

A lot of match ups to consider, as well as a few guys who have been disappointing for the most part, but now are starting to come around.

Re: 2014 OS "Who To Start" Thread

Been a rough last four weeks and I'm backing into the playoffs licking my wounds, but regardless I'm here.

I still have issues at running back and if I bow out early, that'll be the reason why. Been trying to apply band-aids to this situation to mostly ****ty results.

Right now I'm looking for my 2 RBs between

                                Frank Gore
Jonathan Stewart (just scooped on waivers)
                                Latavious Murray
                                LeGarrette Blount
and just picked up Marion Grice on a speculative add given Ellington's status.

What's my best bet starting here? I'm leaning Gore and Stewart, however Frank Gore has burned all my trust in him with his piss poor fantasy performance this season and certainly in the last few weeks. I like Stewart's matchup particularly if Williams is out so I feel like he's a must start with my roster. Blount I feel like I should start because despite Belitricks and his Bolden nonsense last game, Blount still seemed to be the preferred guy? Not sure if I should trust it against the Chargers though? Not sure what to make of Murray. I think he can be a star, but even if he's cleared to play, is starting him against the 9ers a risk I can afford to take in the playoffs? Grice I probably won't start even if Ellington is out, but he's worth stashing and seeing what happens in case I make it to the next round, right?

My other situation is at receiver.

                                Demaryius Thomas
                                Anquan Boldin
                                Brandon LaFell
                                Jarvis Landry
Kenny Stills (just scooped on waivers)

Demaryius is automatic, no questions there. However I'm starting another and one at the flex. I was going to put in LaFell last week, didn't do it and it bit me. I think he could have another good game against SD and I'm leaning towards going with him at WR2. Boldin after last week's performance has me doubting him, though like Gore a matchup against Oakland seems tough to pass up. I feel like I'd be an idiot not to get Stills in there at home against the Panthers, but I also get the feeling that I'd do it and Brees would call everybody's number BUT his. Thoughts? Landry, I think is a solid option, but I don't know if I want to put my season in his hands against Baltimore?

Also, would you guys drop any of those guys to add Knile Davis in the case of a more serious Jamaal Charles injury? Oh and better play, Packers D vs Atlanta or Baltimore vs Mia? The Vikings D is also still on the waiver wire I believe.
