Need help at RB and TE
My RB's are
Mark Ingram
Jeremy Hill
Boom Herron
Jonathan Stewart
I am definitely starting Ingram, that's a no brainer. The rest though I feel are all in the same boat. Basically what I want is a high floor volume RB2 that can find the EZ.
Boom - I really like Boom, but all this talk about TRich and his "revenge" on Cleveland has me thinking the coaches will be giving that bum all the red zone carries. It's bad enough Boom had only 8 carries last week now we have this new "revenge" element thrown into the mix. This is a great matchup though, Cleveland's weakness is against the run. They have a very good secondary unlike Washington who left Fleener wide open all game long last week. Indy didn't run the ball last week because every third pass Luck completed was a 75 yard TD.
Hill - Called out his coach and was already splitting carries with Bernard. Can't trust him getting the lions share this week. Plus you have the Dalton factor where the defense loads up the box and this buffoon can't complete a pass to a wide open AJ Green. Awful QB.
Stewart - I'm actually quite high on this guy this week with Williams out. I kept him on my roster anticipating this situation and it actually happened. I have watched many Saints games this year and that run defense is abysmal. Stewart's has at least 80 yards in two of his last three games and that's while splitting carries with Williams. Tolbert is mainly a short yardage guy so Stewart should be getting the bulk of the carries in this game. The problem is I see the Panthers playing from behind which means less running opportunities for Stewart. He also has to deal with Cam and Tolbert who are big threats to vulture TDs.
As for TE...
It's either Kelce or Rudolph and Ive been going back and forth on this one all week. I'm a Jets fan, we stink and there is no doubt Minnesota will win this game big. Basically its the same scenario as last week for the Vikings, go up big and let Asiata plod most of the game. I don't feel comfortable risking Rudolph going 2 for 7 yards again but he has a high chance of catching a TD.
As for Kelce the problem is that bastard Reid for whatever idiotic reason refuses to incorporate him into the gameplan and when he's open downfield Smith decides to dump it off for a 5 yard gain to Fasano. KC has to win this week, AZ is very stout against the run and struggles mightily against athletic TEs. for the love of god and everything that is holy...Is this the week Reid realizes what Kelce can do and Smith rediscovers how to throw a football further than 5 yards?
Anyways I'm leaning Jeremy Hill and Kelce at the moment. I feel Hill has the best chance out of all my RB's to find the EZ and Kelce has a higher floor than Rudolph. Am I right?
