Even mediocre fantasy QBs score more points than every other position, other than maybe the top 1 or 2 RBs/WRs. It seems like the scoring in your league is QB friendly, and Brees has certainly been one of the best fantasy QBs in the past.

If you're deciding between Charles and Brown, I guess it's a toss up. I'll just say this, I think the drop off is greater after the elite RBs than it is after the elite WRs, but Brown is probably gonna be the #1 receiver off the board in most leagues.

I'd keep Charles and Brown and just pick up a QB like Tannehill later.

I'm in a kepper league where each team (12 team league) keeps 1 player. I think 8 teams are keeping running backs so the 1st round is pretty much going to be a WR fest.

I pick 4th and I think Julio, D Thomas, and Gronk will all be available. I'm keeping AP. Who would you guys take to be my number 2 starter opposite AP?

If you can take Gronk...and then look a for good value at RB in the 2nd. With Graham going to a run heavy offense in Seattle, and Gronk in pass happy NE. He is now the clear cut #1 TE in fantasy this year.

Lamar Miller, CJ Anderson, Mark Ingram, Alfred Morris are all guys who will probably go pretty early if all the top backs are being kept.

Carlos Hyde, Joique Bell, Melvin Gordon, and even Andre Ellington are also names to look for that may last a little longer than the names above.

It's all dependant on how your draft plays out. I'm sure there will be another run on RBs after the first round. Todd Gurley is a good pick you can probably get later. He won't be starting week 1, but he's obviously the future for the Rams.

Yeah I think DeMarco(Lacy is that guys keeper smh), CJ, and one of the other backs go top 3. That leaves me with Luck who I already had on my team, Gronk, or a WR of my choosing. I can't wait to draft. I think this is going to be an exciting season.

Time to start some 2015 threads. I think it'd be good to get a keeper one specifically (there may be one now). If you haven't gotten your question answered here (or would like more input), please just post the same question in the new thread... even copy/paste but maybe include further thought after some of the answers given.

bigbob, there's a reason Charles and Brown are going before Brees in drafts 100% of the time. I honestly can't think of a single format where it wouldn't be the case, besides a 2 QB league. You need to consider supply and demand at position, number of starters (you need to start 1 QB but 2 or 3 RBs and WRs), and compare points within position not across.

Even if you just love Brees, I'd argue that keeping Brown and Charles should still leave Brees available to you with your first actual draft pick. You'd be crazy not to keep those two.
