Guys, don't forget to write who people are playing. We're all tuned in so it's not hard to figure out, but makes it MUCH easier figuring out how we'd rate players if we don't have to also go through and remember who everyone is playing. (this wasn't just at you Matt... general announcement, lol).

As I was reading this, I thought you were mocking me by sarcastically talking about the fantasy opponent's roster. I was thinking, "You son of a..." lol

Haha but on that point I agree, gotta know who the player is up against to make recommendations.

Got some tough draws for the 1st week of playoffs.

Picking between these:
Amari vs Denver
Marvin Jones vs Pitt
McFadden vs Green Bay
Yeldon vs Indianapolis
Cobb vs Dallas
Ivory vs Tennessee

Right now I have Jones, McFadden, and Yeldon starting. I can do any combination of 2 HB, 1 WR, or 2 WR, 1 HB.

Any thoughts?

I'd probably start the same trio.





Have a few conundrums myself:



QB - Brees (Vs TB), Taylor (Vs PHI) or Winston (Vs NO)



I feel like I should start Brees since he's the one I drafted for this very spot...but Taylor has been lighting it up recently and the Philly D has looked iffy against everyone not named Tom Brady. Winston is playing the Saints so...yeah.



RB2 - L. Murray (Vs Den), R. Matthews (Vs BUF), J. White (Vs Hou), T. Hightower (Vs TB), D. Murray (Vs BUF).



Tough match-ups all around and I have Murray slated to start right now but with the DeMarco news I had to bench him and I picked up Matthews as a handcuff. White...well...he's a NE RB so who the **** knows.



DEF - Jets (Vs TEN), Rams (Vs DET), Dolphins (Vs NYG), Browns (Vs SF), Bears (Vs WAS)



Since the Rams started sucking with injuries and no offense, I've been streaming Ds. I'm leaning Jets based on match-ups...not many good streaming options this week.

I have a big question at flex today. Hillman or Ryan Mathews? DeMarco' role is apparently shrinking so Mathews could be a big play, but Kubiak said Hillman would start after being listed as questionable.

LOL I swapped Newton out for Dalton last second for no other reason than just to do it. Like, literally I was testing to see if I could still make subs even though my computer clock said 10:00 AM PST. When I tried to swap back, it said I was unable to do so.

Big whoops there.

No big deal, I think I'm safe for that league today even with 0.36 Dalton points and missing out on potentially 30+ Newton points.

Might knock me out of playoff contention, though.

Big week coming up and I really need help deciding.

I have three issues.

1) I own both Antonio Brown and Denver's defense
2) Jets running backs
3) Chicago running backs

I'm considering benching Denver since that offense is anemic regardless of who is the QB and the game is in Pittsburgh. The play here would be Tampa Bay against the lowest scoring offense in the league STL.

The running back situation is a lot tougher. Due to John Fox seemingly being more interested in trolling fantasy football players than trying to win football games I am considering benching both Forte and Langford. Their usage is asinine and a complete mystery, they're both TD dependent. Needless to say I have zero confidence starting either one of these guys against Minnesota.

I have Hightower but I will need a FLEX start. I am considering starting both Jets running backs against Dallas. Dallas took a beating this Sunday and they look done. There is no mystery with the Jets running backs, its Ivory on short yardage/GL with Bilal in on passing downs. Bilal seems to be good for 4-5 receptions which is huge because I am in a PPR league. If the Jets are trailing Bilal will have a big PPR day but that will kill Ivory's value. If the Jets are ahead which they figure to be in this game Ivory is going to see 20 touches. Regardless of how the score goes I think these two combined can get me 30+ points like Lacy and Starks did.

The problem with this strategy is I will have three Jets players in that game (I also have Marshall) which means if the Jets **** the bed I am potentially digging my own grave especially with Brown more likely than not being able to bail me out with a 30 point game against Denver.

The rest of my bench is Diggs, ASJ, Stevie Johnson and Ajayi.

What do you guys think?

Had Fitzpatrick, Ginn and Barnidge on my bench this week. They scored more than every other player on my team. Welp.

Well, my mishmash squad gave me a 40 point lead heading into the second week of the matchup. I don't need any home run hitters this week, I just need consistent scoring. I'm still not comfortable, but I'm hoping for the best.

The main reason I'm considering Riddick is because of the Saints Swiss Cheese defense. I think Riddick is the "safer" play, but Hurns has the better potential for a bigger game. I'll probably flip flop between the two a hundred times before Sunday.

This past fantasy week was a killer. Knocked me out of two playoff races, with so many of my top players doing jack.

I have already set my lineup for next week for the most part, but still wanted to get some advice upon it. Do you guys think I should make any changes or swap some people out? I'm trying to pick up ted ginn jr or bilal powell off waivers if I can get them. Highly unlikely though.
