Re: 2015 "Who Should I Start" Thread
I'm in the money now, but 1st place is much better than 2nd. Below is my projected lineup for the week. I think I'm fairly set now that I grabbed Karlos Williams of of the WW. The only position that I'm really going back and fourth on is QB.Attached FilesMy 2K17 Boston Celtics MyLeague

Re: 2015 "Who Should I Start" Thread
So I'm benching Chris Ivory in my flex bc I have New England defense. That leaves me w choice of
Michael Floyd vs gb
Travis Benjamin vs kc
Karlos Williams vs Dallas
and a questionable TJ yeldon vs atl.
Only reason I'm questioning Floyd is bc I also have Fitz and don't like stacking Wr like that from one team. Thoughts?Comment

Re: 2015 "Who Should I Start" Thread
My team is full of options at RB/FLEX and just looking for some opinions. Can start 2 RBs and a FLEX from this group:
M. Forte Vs TB
L. Murray Vs SD (TNF, which I hate for fantasy)
T. Hightower Vs JAX
J. White Vs NYJ
K. Williams Vs DAL
R. Matthews Vs WAS
C. Michael Vs STL
WRs that I have also available for FLEX consideration (though one of these two might be bumped up to WR if Alshon seems questionable):
J. Landry Vs IND
T. Lockett Vs STL
Non-PPR league.Comment

Re: 2015 "Who Should I Start" Thread
It's championship time boys. 10 team standard and I play week 17 as well.
QBs: Roethelisberger @BAL, Brees vs JAX
RBs: Freeman vs CAR, C.West vs CLE, Forte @ TB, T.Hightower vs JAX, D.Robinson @NO
WRs: Evans vs CHI, Sanders vs CIN, Landry vs IND, Dez @BUF, Aiken vs PIT
Definitely going to go with Big Ben. I get two RBs, so I think West & Freeman. I get two WR so I think Evans and Sanders. Then I get a flex, so I think Forte. Thoughts?Fan of:

Re: 2015 "Who Should I Start" Thread
Okay. Got a RB mess this week and I'm trying to replace Odell for the title game. So:
RBs-
Gurley v. Seattle
Freeman v. Carolina
Hightower v. Jacksonville
West v. Cleveland
WR/FLEX *4 total*
Antonio Brown
DeSean Jackson
Brandon Marshall
Doug Baldwin
Amari Cooper
Sammy Watkins
John Brown
Right now I have Hightower, A. Brown, Marshall, Jackson and Baldwin, but Marshall and Brown are the only two I'm set on. I can also pick up Markus Wheaton off waivers if needed.

Re: 2015 "Who Should I Start" Thread
Championship on the line. Got my biggest rival, too. Both 2-time champs looking to be the first 3-time one. He has Tyrod Taylor at QB but is currently starting Rivers. I was planning to start Detroit's D/ST against SF. BUT I could grab Oakland instead...if Rivers throws any picks, he loses points and I get them. Am I overthinking it?PSN: JWGoNDComment

Re: 2015 "Who Should I Start" Thread
Also, Hurns is a little dinged too and Crabtree may be in a good spot. That's a tough one bc you'd have to decide on that today but that NO secondary may make it worth rolling the dice... it seems like Hurns will be okay.
That QB choice is definitely a tough one. I can't believe it's even a question... go with your gut. I just pulled the trigger and sat Rodgers for Bortles... but in a free league. I'm not sure I could pull the trigger in a money league.Comment

BTW, I agree with benching Ivory but don't know why having NE D makes a difference.

If you need to use one of the WRs, go with Lockett. Landry's value is very different in Non-PPR leagues, you'd need him to score to be relevant for the most part.

Re: 2015 "Who Should I Start" Thread
I like Floyd more than Fitz so there's that. Williams would probably be my next choice if he seems ready to take a good number of reps.
BTW, I agree with benching Ivory but don't know why having NE D makes a difference.
If Murray's gonna ever do anything it should be tonight so I'd give him a go. With him I'd do Hightower and Forte.

I might go with Aiken over Sanders, but that's a ballsy sit. Agree with everything else.Comment

Re: 2015 "Who Should I Start" Thread
Not to mention, if he has 100 yds and 1 td that's a good game... and if that's the only td and the D also has 2 sacks, and a pick 6 then they'd both be valuable at the same time, right?
We really have no control over what's going to happen so, as I've said before, I'm pretty firmly against sitting players I think are the strongest on my team just because I'm starting others.
With that said, I understand the stacking situation you mentioned. If an offense is shut down, you can easily hurt yourself in two spots instead of just one... but ironically people stack QBs and WRs all the time which is really the same thing.
Anyway, if we look at every situation individually I still agree with you sitting Ivory. I don't think he'll do too well against NE. But I do think the Cards will do just fine moving the ball through the air so I'd have no problem starting both Fitz and Floyd. But if you are going to pick one, recently Floyd's been the best fantasy option. He was also the best option for Palmer before he got hurt last year. This year he started with his own injury and Fitz didn't miss a beat taking on the load, but since Floyd's been healthy, Fitz has been more of a chain mover and occasional goal line target. He still has a ton of value, don't get me wrong, but if you want upside then Floyd is the one you want in there.Comment

Re: 2015 "Who Should I Start" Thread
It was actually Calvin Johnson who has done jack lately - just ONE point in each of the last two weeks when he was usually a reliable 10 points per week.
So I'm thinking of dropping Megatron this week and throwing in either one of Ted Ginn or Jordan Matthews as a WR/FLEX. Thoughts?
My opponent has two players in the TNF game (Latavius Murray & Danny Woodhead) while none of my players are in action until Sunday...except Matthews on Saturday night if I decide to start him.Comment
