I probably bandwagoned back in 03-04 because I didn't really start paying attention to Football until I was like 10/11 or so and the first full NFL game I watched was Super Bowl 38 that was actually in Houston (Where I live) and I remember my dad going for the Patriots so out of spite I went for Carolina. I fell in love with them and the NFL during that game even though they lost and DeShaun Foster was like my favorite player because of that game, but sadly since I live in Houston I hardly ever got to watch Carolina until recently when I got Sunday Ticket on my PS3.

Re: Official Carolina Panthers thread
Eh, every team with an exciting player or a year of success will have bandwagon fans. As long as they're somewhat knowledgeable then it's cool with me. I know more "diehard" fans that know nothing about the team or think that Cam is the end-all-be-all of QBs and that annoys me more than any bandwagon fan does.
That's actually one of the nice things about living in Denver now, I'm the only Panther fan that I know out here. And there are plenty of sports bars with Sunday Ticket for me to watch all of the games so I'm not really missing anything.Comment

Classy guy. Saddens me that he couldn't retire in black and blue.

Re: Official Carolina Panthers thread
Just gotta say... Love the Benjamin pick... Excited to see what Cam and him can do this season.
I don't care what others say, I like the WRs... Benjamin, Hill, Cotchery and Avant... Has potential to be a good foursome there.Milwaukee Brewers | Green Bay Packers | North Carolina Tar Heels | Wisconsin BadgersComment

This offensive line is going to land Cam a major injury by the end of the year, I fear...Comment

Re: Official Carolina Panthers thread
Looking at the obvious needs going into the draft, I say the need is LT. I think I can name their franchise OT. That man is Brandon Scherff. He's a huge upgrade over what they have now. They can slide over their current LT to RT. Draft Grade: 92

Re: Official Carolina Panthers thread
Here's an idea to improve this mediocre OL. I have another thing to call this OL, but I believe that would be trolling. Why not sign Doug Free or Bryan Bulaga? Also, draft Brandon Scherff or La'El Collins. Move Nate Chandler to LG. Signing and/or drafting a G would be ideal too. I think trading to grab A.J. Cann would be a good idea. Another good G is Laken Tomlinson. They wouldn't have to trade to get him. Just take him with their 2nd pick. Other good OTs include Daryl Williams, T.J. Clemmings, Ereck Flowers, and Tyrus Thompson.Last edited by bradtxmale; 12-02-2014, 03:17 AM.Comment
