    With articles like this: http://espn.go.com/new-york/nfl/stor...m-tebow-report

how many others are quietly chuckling to themselves and saying "thank you" to the Jets?

I think it's entertaining, and I am very glad that Denver is not dealing with this anymore. I wanted Tebow to succeed in Denver because that's all they had at the time....and I am a Bronco fan.

Can you believe that a year ago Denver had Orton, Quinn, and Tebow as their quarterbacks? Yuck. Two back-ups and an athlete.

Now we have Peyton Freakin' Manning. Unbelievable.

        Re: Official Denver Broncos Thread

This is the first time in a couple of weeks that I am getting genuinely nervous for a game.

Should be a good one with a win taking off a ton of pressure and a loss meaning everything.

With the Broncos, I'm never nervous for us as a team vs team and match ups. I don't think we can be beat unless we beat ourselves with foolish turnovers. That's always the thing: will we have 3 turnovers and dig a hole? That's where I get uneasy.

I still get uneasy just because of the history that this team has. This is the type of game that they would tend to lose in the past. From a fan's perspective, I'm having a hard time getting over the team's past identity even though it's not related. The past 12 years has been littered with epic collapses and flat-out bad losses.

Rivers still scares me. I hate that that guy has come into Denver and won 5 of the past 6 times, with the lone Bronco win coming at the aid of Ed.

Manning changes everything. Tomorrow will say a lot about how hungry this team is and where they truly are as a SB contender.

It reminds me of that game against the Bills.

I totally agree with your last paragraph. I think a lot of people only think that this is a "must win" game for San Diego because the rest of their season depends on it. However, Denver has a point to prove especially at home. A Denver win not only finishes San Diego's season, but it also puts a strangle hold on the rest of the AFC West. Moreover, I think that Denver wants to show the Chargers that they can play all 4 quarters and dominate them.

I can see this game being close as the Chargers will go down fighting, but for that very reason I can see Rivers putting it all on his own shoulders and throwing 4 or 5 picks... again. If that happens, Denver blows San Diego out.

Denver will be in all blue tomorrow... if anyone cares.

Not my favorite look. I wish they'd breakout their classic "D" uniform once and a while, but they probably never will as long as Bowlen is around.

It would have been interesting to see where this franchise would have ended up if they had won that game. Talk about a fork in the road...

Nice win, though I wish the offense would've put them away and taken advantage of the defense's dominance.

Either way, though, 30 points and a win is nothing to be upset about. Also, welcome back DJ Williams, he was a presence and really solidifies a LB group that feels as solid as the days of Wilson, Williams, and Gold.

Another heck of a day by Woodyard and Miller. I can't wait for this team to hit its stride and put together full games.

It was a nice win. I still thought it was an incredibly frustrating game to watch. There were so many missed opportunities and inablity to execute on offense. I'm not complaining, but that game should have been an absolute blow-out. Denver continues to be their own worst enemy.

The 0-26 streak on third down put up by the defense was absolutely amazing. The defense is really looking strong. Miller is an absolute beast.

To me Miller is the teams MVP at this point.

For me it would still be Manning, but you may very well be right. It's great to have somebody on defense who is so disruptive. I love watching him come off of the line and get after it.

McGahee is done for 6 to 8 weeks.

Who is Denver going to rely on now? Lance Ball? Does Moreno come off the inactive list and resurect his career? Do the bring Jeremiah Johnson back? I like Hillman, but he is too small to carry the load.

My hope would be that Moreno comes back with a chip on his shoulder and finally does what he was drafted to do. If I had to bet money on that, I'd probably go the other way.

I think Lance and Hillman will split carries. They both did pretty good against SD, and I'm a fan of both.
