See, here's the problem. You keep saying Fox "loathes" and "mistrusts" rookie running backs. But you're only basing this on how rosters have turned out. That has nothing to do with anything John Fox has said or alluded to in the past. You're projecting John Fox' point of view for him.
Unless you have quotes of John Fox saying "I don't trust rookies; I loathe playing them" then I wouldn't take that angle any longer. John Fox is playing Peyton Manning over Brock Osweiler. Based on that, he must loathe playing rookie quarterbacks. That's the logic you're using.
In the article you linked, there was a very good running back ahead of the rookie. Stephan Davis over Foster, Foster over Williams, then both Williams and Stewart over Goodson. See the trend? Your logic is very flawed. John Fox would've been an idiot to play the rookie running back over those established backs. Davis rushed for over 1,400 yards in 2003 when he started over Foster. Is that Fox "hating" to play rookies or just going with the better coaching decision?
Now look at what Fox did with the Broncos. Instead of keeping the incumbent trusted back from last year, we released him.
