I wouldnt shed a tear if the Giants let him walk. Thats a far cry from how I felt about him after 2011. The guy is a legit moron and let him get paid somewhere else. (probably Dallas since they dont have a cap).

Wouldn't shock me either. Guarantee Tommy Boy doesn't want this clown on his team anymore.

Camp opens up today. Really wish it was in Albany instead of East Rutherford.

JPP finally breaks his silence/speaks with Giants reps for the first time since his accident. I can't believe JPP could be that reckless, to get so badly hurt by using fireworks.

            Weatherford was cut.

As well as Hynoski. Bold move.

At their press conference, the New York Giants owner admitted their flawed roster was to blame for two 6-10 seasons, not coaching. But the cat who put the flawed roster together gets to keep his job while the coach gets shown the door. Makes sense to me....

They were just respecting coughlin. If you watched the games this year, last year, the year before, you know Coughlin was no saint.

Yea I think it was a combo of both, but injuries really was the biggest culprit in my opinion as the Giants were in every game they played and in each loss they could have just as easily won if not for last minute drives. I think more then anything that showed the overall lack of talent of the backups that were never meant to be playing those amount of games, minutes or in those situations honestly

This team has been injury plagued for half a decade now. Something had to give.

Can't stop thinking about the draft, I know the teams know more than I do but it's killing me.

We had the 10th pick, 2 of the top 3 or 5 players available, and ended up taking the 20th best player in the draft. I don't hate Apple, and I like the rest of our draft for the most part, but I can't believe we passed on Tunsil and Jack when our intentions (as far as we know) were to take Conklin and Floyd, inferior players at similar positions.

I never wanted Conklin, all I heard about him was he was a mauling RT...but that's what we heard about Flowers coming into last year, I don't get why they didn't draft the best LT prospect in the draft, move Flowers back to the right side to sure that side up, and then go about their business. I worry that Reese's conservative ways will bite us here.

I don't buy into reaches in the draft. But if the Giants were targeting corner at ten, they should have at least picked the best one available. They chose Eli Apple simply because he was 6 foot 1. Jerry is gonna be gone soon so I just hope his replacement isn't so thick.

I agree that at a certain point, there absolutely is just a situation where you have to have a certain guy, my question is, were the Giants currently at that point with our nickel corner? It bugs me so much more because like I said the guys they wanted were a lineman and a linebacker, and we passed t2 great ones for, like you said, a corner who a lot deem as a project.

Jack, I understand I guess. If the doctors looked at his knee and weren't confident, you can't spend a top 10 pick on it (even though I'd argue if our medical staff had given him he green light it would've been more indicative of him having problems lol). But Tunsil? Ignoring the content of the video becuse its unnecessary, I don't understand how that makes you take a guy off your board. Are you not confident in the coaches and guys in the locker room to get a guy in and teach him the way? I was reading an article about Nkemdiche and it mentioned how the Cardinals GM sent Mathieu to talk to him and see where his heads at. I just wonder, we couldn't have sent Eli and talked to Tunsil to let him know how we do things? Or maybe they did and the meeting was terrible, I dunno. I want to give the team the benefit of the doubt, as im sure whatever due diligence they did they felt was enough, I just don't know how I feel about a line being drawn in the sand about something like this. Bring on the games I guess.

We've been burned too many times with players and weed. They removed every prospect with that blemish with good reason.

I like Tunsil but I understand that decision.

I'm really worried about our backup QB situation. We should be thankful Eli has been such an ironman, but that won't last forever.
