Good job by Cowboys, bad game for Giants. Despite the score we didn't look good tonight. Shocked that the run game was so bad. Wilson might have trouble getting carries for awhile with his fumble. Hixon or Barden will need to step up. Cowboy corners played Hicks and Cruz really well overall. We already had major concerns with Coe in there. Now that he's hurt, Giants may have huge issues with GB, NO, Dal, maybe SF too. Was hoping for an easy season. Oh well.

Our preseason injuries will be the death of us. Justin Tyron was a joke. But on the upside, if we absolutely tank because of the secondary this year we can get a top 10 pick! Thats exciting right? Right? *hides under table in fetal position in tears*

It's a long season. Hopefully Prince and Coe can play soon. The special teams needs to improve big time.

In the words of my good buddy Bill Goldberg

          Who's NEXT?!!

In other news, Im mad my man Will Hill didnt get on the field. No more 3 safety sets? That disappointing. Holsey outside with a 3rd safety may be able to hold us off until other guys get back.

Nice win for the G-Men. Strong performance all around against a solid GB team. Unfortunately Andre Brown broke his fibula.

Corey Webster should retire after what the Ravens did to him. They pretty much told us they would throw it to Webster every play and we had no response. He needs to go.

Thread has been kind of quiet. I am very confident with the signing of Wes Welker that the market value has been set and the Giants will get Cruz back.

Im at the point where Im fearing the deal we need to accept to keep Cruz. At this point im hoping a team picks up the tender and hands us a draft pick.

Man this is long overdue. But winning 8 games this season would surprise me. I have, rounded up, about a zero percent trust in our defense. They will probably be one of the worst defenses in our franchise history if not league history. I have no faith in that side of the ball whatsoever. At this point Im praying that half the defense gets cut next season so we can start fresh. Only 2 or 3 guys on that side of the ball are worth keeping around for the impending rebuild. Reese's lack of care for that side of the ball is disheartening.

Offense is predicated on Eli and Gilbride not shooting themselves in the foot on a constant basis following the mid point of the season. Our offense is one of the most stale yet complicated ones in the league. Yet it fools nobody when teams have tape on us just about week 6 or so.

I pretty much predict an 8-8 season. If we're lucky we will be horrendous and force some hard looks at chopping dead weight.

^^ Im a Nostradamus. I would outline everything wrong with this team but I mean would it really matter? This organization is just too loyal to its pieces regardless of how historically inept they are.

Somebody please tell me why Kevin Gilbride is still running our offense. As the league's offenses evolve and put up crazy points, we are stuck with this old man running and old man offense regardless of how ridiculously bad it is. Those two miracle superbowls have masked just how bad this team is. if you remove those two championships this team has missed the playoffs like 6/8 years...

I hear what you're saying but you really cannot remove the two Super Bowl wins from the resume. Most teams would kill for that. Granted they never dominated regular season even in the Super Bowl seasons. That said the team gets a major pass for the two Big Wins. Other than that at best they are league average overall. Manning is not the only thing wrong with this team but this year he looks more like his rookie season than at any time besides his first year in the league.

Major overhaul needed. Start with the old guy at the top.

Thats the thing. I think Coughlin is fine, his stubbornness and reluctance to move on from Gilbride is my issue with him. Eli IS to blame because even when he has time he will STILL throw the ball to the other team. No he isnt alone. Our oline has been horrific and our WRs don't really seem to care. I dont know who is lazier Nicks or Randle. Cruz gives you 100% always so he's fine in my book.

All I ask from Coughlin this year is to accept that Gilbride and his caveman offense have to go. He needs to liven up his offense and bring in a guy who is willing to change up the offense according to the personnel. Gilbride DOES NOT believe in adjustments. Gilbride has been on Coughlin staffs since the Jacksonville days and that my issue with Coughlin. He wont accept when one of his guys is doing ****. Gilbride is comfortable and doesnt even think his job is in danger becuase he knows Coughlin will bend over backwards to save his job.
