I dont know. Id still rather Barret from TB. But Puz would certainly fit in this scheme. Doubt it goes down though.

TB said they are not going to sign Barrett back so hopefully we make a move for him. Nick Barnett wouldn't be a bad pick up either if his knee is healthy and Barrett cost too much..

Seems like the guys are content in returning more or less the same team back for another try this season. I hope it works out but Im not optimistic at all.

That's what it seems like. I don't mind it because we were doing alright until the injury bug hit us. Our draft was pretty good too hopefully some of those players come in a make an immediate impact. Still feel we need to make some kind of splash at MLB or OLB. Tullock, Rudd, and Posluszny are all signed now. N.Barnett, and now L.Tatupu are out there.. We need to address that posistion for real.

Good thing the Giants did not go after Paulznosy or Rudd, they are no good in space and the Giants need someone to protect the middle.

I think before the year is over, Greg Jones will be a starter along with Goff and Boley

Giants should and will move Osi, he is worth more then what he is being paid but not 10 mil, and the Giants do not have the money so trade him for a second.

I think the front line of the Giants defense has a chance to be special this year

Tuck, JPP, Joseph, Canty the starters and Austin who I think will be a future pro bowler starting next season once we cut Canty after this season.

We just signed Gabe Watson who is just depth but huge depth with his big frame.

The secondary will be much improve with the addition of Prince along with TT and Webster along with a fully healthy Ross. I see a huge year from KP and Rolle in the secondary.

The biggest question mark will be the offense and how Steve Smith recovers from his injury. I think he will be out the first 8 games or so. Nicks, Manningham, Barden, Cruz, Hixon will be ok but Smith makes them that much tougher to defend.

I think the Run game will be fine, the o-line had age but I think the Beatty, Diehtl, Bass, Snee, Mckenzie line is terrific along with Koets and Brewer and Booth as solid back ups.


Do not sleep on the Giants this year, they did not sign fancy names but they already had 10 win talent last year and if they did not lead the league in turnovers they would be easily 12 win team.

Well it looks like were going to have to wait to see Prince play. Just broke his foot in practice the other day. That sucks..

Yeah I was looking forward to seeing him out there in Preseason getting some reps in. This is a setback for him. CBs usually struggle there rookie year..

Yeah for real.. I didn't see this coming at all. I've always thought Smith would play most of his career with the Giants. I didn't think it would end this early..

I hate that Steve Smith went to the Eagles of all team and he made a statement that, forgive my paraphrasing "Its good to be on a team with Superbowl potential" WHAT THE ****


I would wish steve good luck, but Ill save it for when the Eagles dump him.

Good luck Steve Smith being the player you use to be. That injury is not something you come back and be yourself again.

The Giants will be fine, Ohara and Richie were getting older and were hurt last year for big parts.

The Giants online is going to be solid once Bass gets acclimated to the pb

Will Beatty is going to be a stud at LT, have been impressed with him so far.

Best d-line in football with Osi, Tuck, and JPP who is going to be a beast.

I think the biggest question marks remain the LB group and the depth at receivers.

I think they might be .500 by week 10 and then start to play better around week 13
