Wow this is really amazing! I used to play the hell out of this game as a kid so it would be sweet to see what it looks like with modern rosters and jerseys. Hope the project is coming along nicely.

Re: EA Sports NHL 07 PSP - A quest for an update
I tried to update arena ices but I still got dark results with more ice reflection than normal after inserting new logo in the former one. Any idea?
How did you change team name such as Winnipeg instead if Atlanta? With Nhl view?Comment

Re: EA Sports NHL 07 PSP - A quest for an update
Yeah, the ice is a problem.
What I did was just use the pencil tool in Game Graphic Studio to erase the logo, making blank ice.
I'm thinking of trying to install a different .ebo file, from a PC version and see if that works.
Probably won't, but hey...
It would be possible to use NHL View to appoint a different ice number, but it would have to be one already in the game.Comment

Re: EA Sports NHL 07 PSP - A quest for an update
To be honest, I have been busy doing other things.
I'm looking for ways to enlist some help in this project, and am looking for ideas.
As well, many of the teams have introduced third jerseys, so those have to be done as well.
I think I may release a test version for just the uniforms once I do the thirds.Comment

Re: EA Sports NHL 07 PSP - A quest for an update
I haven't been working on this much lately, but I'm trying to figure out how to let people contribute to this update.
I would never take money for a game I didn't make. If I do ever get this finished, it will be free for anyone who legally owns the game.
I'll have to do some thinking and figuring.
Thank you everyone for your patience!Comment

Re: EA Sports NHL 07 PSP - A quest for an update
Mr Meredith this is a sweet project and i hope you see it through, as 07 on psp is a great game. I play it a fair bit.
Id like to help if theres a way, although like everyone, i dont have much time available. It seems as though youve found a way to have the rosters editable with nhl view, is that somewhat where youre at? If that is possible, i dont mind adding what i can to the effort. It would be amazing to be able to play this game with current rosters, and have the ability to keep them up to date.
Cheers for all youve done so far.Comment

Re: EA Sports NHL 07 PSP - A quest for an update
I'm looking for a couple of people to test out the graphics mod on different platforms (PC, PSP, Android)
Send me a PM if you're interested.
I'm also still looking for people to help with the roster editing, too. I'm still figuring out a way to share the work, so if you have any ideas, please post them here!Comment

Re: EA Sports NHL 07 PSP - A quest for an update
I can help test the graphics using ppsspp on a surface tablet and an android smartphone. I dont have a psp though.
Im also willing to help with rosters, as im actually more interested in roster updates than graphics updates. I dont have any good ideas about how to share them though.
Let me know if i can help!Comment

Re: EA Sports NHL 07 PSP - A quest for an update
So, at this point, is there a way to edit rosters on the computer to put back onto the PSP? I enjoy the gameplay of NHL07 on the PSP, but managing the rosters is unbearable. If I could make my roster on the computer, then put it back onto the PSP, I'd be in good shape!Comment

I have figured out a way. It's pretty complicated and involves some different software, but it's possible.Comment

I guess that's kinda good news. I love that it is possible, but I am far from a tech-savvy guy, so I'll have to pass on anything like that. Thanks for responding!Comment
