Alexeyev got scanned at Caps practice arena today, Kakko has been posted by the EASPORTSNHL account, Dach posted his on Instagram

Jesper Boqvist got a scan today as well

Jesper Boqvist got a scan today as well

I asked someone who was there for interviews. He said that all players there at practice show camp got a scan :-) Sounds good !

That’s fantastic news. Means we got all of these players so far. Hopefully this means they’re going to start scanning more. I would take it to training camps, all star game, finals, etc

Very exciting list. Too bad there aren’t many veterans. I will however say, don’t get too excited. They’ve done this with Blue Jackets and Predators players and never added them to the game afterwards. It’s promising, technology has advanced since the botched scans, but still, let’s see what happens.

You sure about Blue Jackets and Predators scan ? What sense has it to install this big scanning machine ( you ever saw this big machine from EA ? ) somewhere for scans and after not to finish this work. It’s easy to implement for an Video artist after the scan was made. What I have heard, but not sure if it’s true that the NHL give some pressure to EA cause there are very bad reactions from users in Twitter or FB on EA NHL advertisements and thats no good publicity for the League in general.

Someone at the EA sports NHL forums said Mikko Rantanen is in. No pictures or anything though so not sure about it.

They should finally add some more generic faces/chance to edit existing ones like some WWE wrestilng games had alteady on PS2 as I’m 100% sure many of the veteran stars are not scanned.
