About age is bad, I wanted that Alumni players starting as Rookies in later drafts. This makes more sense for me than middle aged playersComment

If anyone has early access could you post a few pics of Kelly Hrudey in the game? Curious about his mask and look. As Snoop said on the King's broadcast, "that's my dawg". Lol. He was talking about Doughty, though.
I took a long break from EA and personally was always more of a 2K fan but I enjoyed last years offering and despite it's flaws I am getting 20 on Day one. The true broadcast cam is a winner for me and though there are issues with the AI I found some settings that work pretty well for me.
Thanks, guys.Comment

Sigh.
Franchise Mode. You can only replace ONE team with an alumni team.
So if you want to play this mode with alumni, via player movement move all legends etc to current teams. What I suggest is this. Move all NHL players to their current minor league team. Then move all minor league players to the proper legend team. That way when you start a franchise you can have the minor leagues full of NHL players etc.
Season Mode. You can replace every team with their alumni team and don’t need to do anything else. Unless you want to do like the above and have a pool of NHL players in minor leagues. Then do the same.
I feel like once I get a franchise set up with the legends I’ll be set. Will be fun and a nice change of pace for me. I already added Crosby, Malkin, Letang, and Fleury to the Pens alumni team.
But per usual have to jump through some hoops, but is what it is. At least we can use these guys in franchise mode this year.Twitch

You can replace more teams on Franchise....You have to do it on the team selection screen before you make your final selection of a team. On PS4 its the box button i believe and you can make as many changes as you want as long as you do it before selecting your team. In my franchise, i subbed in Quebec for Zona, North Stars for Columbus and Hartford for Carolina. I added up to 5 legends for all the other teams.Comment

Another piece of advice....make sure to turn OFF the retired number if you add legends to the regular team. On my first attempt at a franchise i messed up and it was killing my world that Mario was #65I believe its in the advance settings on the franchise creation screen. I don't think you can go back and change once you've started.

In case it hasn't been mentioned, the legends come into the franchise as 26 and 27 year olds.Comment

A thing like this will NEVER be perfect for everyone.
However I think 2K got it pretty right with their classic real rosters from different years...Now go play NHL Two K!
