So, the ones not bolded were scanned but not added to the game, yes? Wow, what is wrong with this equation? Will any game ever be made of good quality again?

At certain angles it can kind of look like him, but no, that is a generic face.

If they let us use the EA Face scan possibility on their website would be great. On the pic you see my Quinn Hughes which I scanned from a simple photo last year on their website.

Yes checked him time ago. Very funny with his long curly hair They need to open the appearance design that user can change that. Also they need to add more and better possibilities for creating faces, eyebrows .... Maybe EA will surprise us today with this update, but guess more no.

Fifa 20 is getting updated head scans for Ajax.Wow we're lucky to get a player scan let alone an entire team face update,sucks to be a hockey fan.

I am from Europe but not interested in Football any more. Envy this Football fans. I guess it’s the developer Team from EA NHL which doesn’t care about adding them. A part of the Team scan the Player but the art department adding only very less. So in my opinion it only will change when a new developer Team is in.

Bottom line is they just don't care,I normally buy both versions of the game.Ps4 and Xbox.Because of the lack of real changes to the game and small additions like portrait and scans.Also seems like you get the finished product months after release so I've decided to wait till it's available on Ea Access.For about $5 a month I get all the games to play. It's not just this game,I bought pes 19 last year mainly because of 2 Glasgow teams with stadiums and face scans to be added.That didn't come for 5 months,by that time the game was $29 after me paying ,$89.So I'm going to start being more patient and save my money.Maybe game companies should start putting games out every 2 years so NHL especially are more than just roster updates and poor ones at that.Come on start caring I'm been buying this game since 92.

I can promise that next year will not buy it before end of November. Will try to buy it as used from private. Hope strongly that 2K starts to produce a Hockey game, than I am 100% out of EA. Hope many will do like me.

I tried to convince at least the offline guys to wait and buy it on black Friday to at least try to send EA some sort of message, but everyone around this time starts talking tough and saying that next year they will wait and even over the some same thing a lot of people saying "i'm not going to buy the game till its cheaper" then the game comes out everyone is pumped on the changes and over the next few weeks the newness wears off and then the complaints start happening and the talk of not buying the game the next year until its half price. I wait every year cause its not worth full price but at half price or even cheaper when people start selling their copy for $25, it's worth it. I hope you and others do wait but its been like this for the last 3 or 4 years so i don't expect things to change.

You are right, it went mostly this way. Last year waited and bought about 4 weeks after release and got a little discount.
This year one week after release, cause was curious about the new Coach stuff. About the AHL waiver have known since years. But as you said, all to early. Know this game from the glory days of the 90th, than stopped to play at 2003. Played every early game on PC. 2017 a working colleague has brought me back to this game. In 20 played one week a new Season with 46 games NHL/AHL 32nd Team, now since weeks no fun to play and have started to create and save the missing Players for future in my appearance Thread. Wrote Mr Andrew Wilson from EA a letter by email about 2 weeks ago, he received but don’t know if he has read it and it will give an reaction. Mainly was about the scans, but also doing lack of customer care and more. I also do a lot in FB and Twitter at EA advertisements. Would appreciate so much help as I can get there. We will see at the next updates.

I appreciate all the work you do to help make this game better,for the most part I enjoy the gameplay,my biggest problem is the lack of player scans and portraits.When you play the game and there's a close up of one of your favourite players and he looks like anyone of dozens of players or their is a blank silhouette of where a face is supposed to be it takes away from the realism.These fixes should be so easy as well.Oh well,guess we can only cross our fingers. I've already started giving them less money as I will now wait for NHL 20 on the ps4 on Ea Access.As for for any other EA title it will have to wait for Ea Access to come to the vault for me to play
