Re: NHL 20 Player faces
Another disappointing year for us who care about this significant part to the game. I’m sure many of us have extensively, painstakingly searched through rosters , out of desperation. I thought I would mention a few guys that look kinda close, or at least more unique to themselves :
Vladislav Gavrikov- CLB
Christoffer Ehn- DET
Jujhar Khaira- EDM
Tucker Poolman- WPG
Radko Gudas-WSH
( all arguable of course)
Let’s hope for the best , boys, that there will still be additions!!Comment

Re: NHL 20 Player faces
I'll list you all of those ugly freaking generic faces even if you wake me up at night.
Sheesh, I won't buy this crap without Frostbite next year.Last edited by sanjuan; 12-10-2019, 03:01 AM.Comment

Re: NHL 20 Player faces
This list is awfully forward-oriented. The likes of Washington and Vegas have ZERO defensemen with scans, just pathetic. Also surprised St. Louis doesn't get rewarded for winning the Cup: Parayko, Perron, Thomas etc. make more sense than the bottom-6 scans that the Sharks got. Oh well, seems like there's zero logic to this. But gotta wonder, what does EA do with those Rookie Showcase scans? If the lists are accurate, there are dozens of scans from 2016 onwards that were never added to the game.... WHY? Anyways I just registered and feel passionate about player likeness in the NHL games and every year is kind of a disappointment. Thanks for keeping this page going!Comment

Also Andy Andreoff and Kris Russell are kind of close

Re: NHL 20 Player faces
Roster update from today Jan.30th. As I have seen so far, no surprise cause no new likenesses have been added.Comment

Re: NHL 20 Player faces
I really wonder where all the rookie showcase scans along the years are. Why scan them and not use them?Comment

Re: NHL 20 Player faces
Now as the season is unfortunately over there would be plenty of time to add face scans and keep us interested of the game until next one. Though we all know that nothing’s gonna happen.Comment

Re: NHL 20 Player faces
That’s it boys. I asked it straight from one of the EA devs at EA forums and this is it. I hope my screenshot shows to you all. If not, here’s a link to the topic where I asked about player likenesses: https://forums.ea.com/en/nhl/discuss...ril-3rd#latest
So it’s game over for this year. Really sad amount of players got added this year. Not even one per team. They should show same amount of love to all teams as they did to Sharks this year. But if a complete art department of a big company only gets like ten player faces in the game per year they just should lose their job. I couldn’t care less about Snoop Dogg being in the game and the endless amount of **** like hockeybags and that. They would be a nice addition WHEN the rest of the game is finished and by that I mean every single player should have their own face.
I haven’t met or heard of a single person who has said "I would take Snoop Dogg likeness anytime over Filip Forsberg/Tom Wilson/Cale Makar/ younameit"
Just pretending here that EA’s art department cares and actually reads our messages I’d like to name drop 5 important players for each teams who still have those awful generic faces to my next message.Last edited by HandsomeJohnny; 04-07-2020, 05:36 PM.Comment
