Only freezing I'm experiencing is that the last two times I've tried loading the franchise mode, it's frozen at 100%.

Yeah, I got rid of Update 1.01 as soon as I heard it was causing issues with loading BAGM. In fact I'll have nothing to with anything online until the patch is released.

I had 2 freezes new to me last night and they both happened in the exact same spot, with the exact same player.
I was going up the screen in the first period. Skating up the left side boards into the zone with Brian Boyle I cut right into the left faceoff circle and tried a snap shot from there. The goalie made the save and it looked like the puck was headed out of play and the game froze.
Restarted the game and was able to finish. When the game ended I did a rematch and, again, first period, same player, same spot on the ice the game froze.
I wonder if I should just delete Brian Boyle? Or maybe it's Hiller, the goalie for the Ducks?
It was just too weird as these were the first 2 actual in-game freezes I have seen.

For what it's worth, I am playing this game straight out of the box with with whatever tuners it made me download etc. but with no customer rosters, music or anything else and I am getting the freeze in all modes.

Froze in the last minute of a game in Be A GM mode last night. Also freezes sometimes when loading saved dynasty (Be a GM). Just gets stuck at 100%.

In game freezes still permit me to access the PS main menu but trying to force quit usually results in a console reboot.

I wouldn't use any Tuner right now, but the default. I think the 1.01 update is one of the new causes of freezes, because I've noticed several people saying they had freezes since downloading it. As I already stated, I'll stay away from online and anything other than Play Now until the patch.

After having no freezing problems I just experienced two freezes in a row in eashl drop in games and both were in games that I was doing well and was ready to move up to superstar from veteran and now I see that my rating has dropped down so I will have to string together a bunch of good games to get the superstar card. And its not easy for me. I'm not that good and I'm really mad about it.

Hi all, playing the game on the PS3. So far I have had two freezes. One when I was loading a Play Now game and one loading a game in Be A GM Mode. Either then that, everything has been fine.

Frustrating. I'm done with BAP until a patch comes out, just had fourth freeze in 13 games, always in third period and always (maybe bad luck) when I've had a great game. Hopefully BAGM is better because this is BS.

Froze today much like BleacherCreatures, where I tried to take a shot from the left circle and the game just locked up my PS3. Still could hear background music, but had to hard reset my PS3 with the power button. I use custom music, was playing offline but signed in to PSN, and have adjusted sliders. I was also using the latest tuner.

I've had the game for less than 48 hours but it is reaching the point where I don't even want to bother trying to play it between the freezing and the horrendous framerate I'm getting.

I'm going to jump in on the freeze (without reading 23 pages) conversation. My freeze is in season mode about 8 or so games in with the Pens. I play the Jets for the second time. The game is over and it goes to the next game. It freezes on simming screen (4 times). It's not a bad freeze as I'm able to use the PS3 button on the controller to get to the XMB, but even if I pick a game that's past the game after the freeze, it locks up on that day's game. I'm frustrated as I put some time in and don't want to restart, but I don't want to keep playing junior hockey in the BAP either.

UPDATE: My season data won't even load now. It sticks at 100% I guess this is EA's way of keeping you playing the game because now I have to replay these games. I hate when the computer sims it because I'll end up with a ton of injuries or messed up lines/call ups/send downs.

This freezing is BRUTAL.

PS3 version. Mine is doing it on long passes (over 2 line) and typically towards the sideboards. I haven't had to hard reset. I can still hear the crowd, etc., but I'm able to get back to the PS3 menu blade and quit the game or turn off the system.

I'm having it happen in Play Now or whatever it's called.

I'm having freezing issues again, I'm on a FAT PS3 with a copy.

I've played about 20 FRANCHISE/BAL games without the game freezing but over the past two evenings I cannot seem to play more than two games without it freezing in the last minute of play both on FRANCHISE and BAL! Like thiel82 above I can still hear the crowd etc and I am able to quit the game from the PS3 menu but I'm getting to the point now where I don't want to play the game! I've never had to perform a hard reset though and the only game that I've had to perform a hard reset was Uncharted 2 when my wife scratched the disk and didn't tell me!

I'm almost at the point where I'm going to call it a day and sell the game!
