The goalies seem more solid now, is maybe a good way to put it. Yeah, those rather weak shots from way out like Bwiggy mentioned, beating your goalie was driving me freaking nuts. Very happy we got V1.05. Thank you, EAC. Nicely done!

Yep, same here! So far so good. :-)

This happened to me only once, but I thought it was annoying as hell lol. Glad they took the time and fixed it.

In the two games using 1.05, Canuckss...I'd say yes.

In the second game I played tonight, I got called for two penalties, and the cpu four. 10 minute periods All-Star normal, penalty sliders maxed. The first game was very similar. At least imo...the game overall with V1.05 seems to be at it's best.

The number of calls seem just right for me now. And very happy the goalies seemingly have indeed been tightened up nicely. Digging 1.05 a lot so far.

I was able to draw 6 penalties against the CPU in the game I just played, including a 5 on 3 in the first minute of the game.
I was 0 for 6 on the PP but I'm the Rangers so that should come as no surprise.

              This might be really good.
I've been so happy with penalties lately. But the last game I played on friday (in which I had 6 PP's) I lost 1-6.
All 6 cpu goals was rebounds.
5 of them were from weak shots from far out.

              Playing first 1.05 game... NOW!

Were the Winter Classic Jerseys added this update or the last one? I started a Flyers BAGM and 1st preseason game was vs NYR and both had their Winter Classic jerseys

Three games played with V1.05 in my BEAGM now...and not one wth goal scored by the cpu. Each goal I've allowed seemed fair.

The cpu turn around shots from against the boards 60' out and beating your goalie look to be gone. Or at least toned down greatly.

Just seen the one wth goal from the CPU in about 5 games with this tuner where a weak low backhand wrister from the boards beat my goalie who was hugging the near post and watched the puck trickle past him in off the far post.

Overall though this a real solid game now that i'm really enjoying, penalties feel good although I would maybe like to see a few more just to be perfect.

The only real issue I have left is that i'm struggling with face-offs, with the slider at 4 I win 80% but with the slider at 5 I lose 80%, maybe i'm doing something wrong but at the moment I have it set at 4 and just let the CPU win some here and there to at least keep them around 40%.

                      What difficulty do you play?
Do you have any adjustments on the CPU Difficulty slider?

I'm not sure, but I guess the latter could be used to tune the face off, unfortunately you're tuning other aspects of the CPU difficulty as well.

Do these tuners include the previous tuners as well? Since playing with 1.05, I only had 2 penalties in my last game. Prior, using 1.04, each team was getting 2-3 each.

If everything works as it should, the changes made are based on the latest tuner.

So 1.05 tuner is 1.04 tuner +/- the changes mentioned.

If it was only one game, I wouldn't worry. I've played a few on 1.05, and had plenty of penalties, just like 1.04

                            So true, Jez.

NHL [thankfully] varies around so much from game to game, you really don't want to judge anything after just a game or two. Although I'm sure guilty of doing this myself. Yep Jez...if they adjusted the penalties even further, I'd probably start moving the slider down from max. I'm satisfied where we're at now.

I play on All-Star Normal with a few tweaks, CPU dfficulty is at 0. I may increase it just to test whether it affects it, as you say it may affect some other things aswell so might not be a long term solution and i've got a bad enough record as it is so don't want to help the CPU out much more!

Maybe I should just leave the slider at 5 and just get better at face-offs, should happen over time.

Using Matt's new roster, PHI (Me) Vs. NYI, I rattled off 6 consecutive penalties against me, shots in the period were 21 NYI 1 PHI. All different varieties, I just couldn't get out of the box lol. Very Philadelphia/Pittsburgh from last season, but in the cyberworld Bryz isn't that much of a sieve and I ended up winning 3-0. Final shots were 35 - 23.

This was all Pro default sliders with a bump in CPU difficulty, the only way I play.

I'd say the penalty problem doesn't exist anymore lol.

In fact, with Matt's rosters, Tuner 1.05 and Puck size and shadow Authentic, this is HANDS DOWN the best hockey game I've ever played.
