I'm losing 80% of my faceoffs (not an exaggeration in the least). Can't win a game when you can't win a draw. Not sure why this is like this again?

to quote another forum, " GET BETTER ". hold the left stick to change your grip on the stick..use the right stick to direct the puck. Want to draw the puck back against a right-handed center? hold the opposite way, time the puck drop and hit down on the right stick.

Go from there.

That's helpful. Really. Since you are the expert, please explain why me and everyone else I know online suddenly can't win faceoffs? I was fine with all the other tuners. 1.00 - 1.04. Now suddenly I'm winning 1-2 a game tops. Same with the people in my online GM mode.

I'd love to know how all our skills suddenly eroded overnight. Something in the water perhaps?

I win 50% or better all of the time with both 1.04 and 1.05 and default sliders, including HUT games, both online and off.

The reason I want you to just get better is that I don't want you and your friends' lack of ability force the faceoffs to become silly easy.

Default? Which gamestyle are you playing with?

Default gamestyle. And I don't see much of a difference between All-star and Pro.

I pull back on the RS when I see the ref's arm begin to move.

Yeah. Faceoff difficulty is low on default gamestyle. You should win 80% of faceoffs vs. CPU on default. Why don't you try it on hardcore?

I struggle with face-offs, too.

I use All-Star normal, and with the cpu face-off difficulty slider at 5...I too was losing at 80%. But with the slider at 4...I win 80%. I've tried and tried to solve this. But just can't seem to.

Sorry for the n00b question - if I tweak the sliders it only affects the gameplay when I'm playing the CPU or a friend locally on my own PS3?

Playing online everyone is on the same settings I presume?

Because I win around 50% now, and Hardcore is a really lame gamestyle.

I don't like tuner 1.05, I went back to 1.04 because at least then both sides were getting penalties, with 1.05 I took about 12 minutes in penalties while CPU took zero!

Im agree with that penalties are called mostly right and various in the 1.04 also me im back to 1.04
