Pretty sure it's PS3 only. From what I've read Xbox should be easier, just need someone knowledgeable who wants an editor to create one.

Probably useless, since it's been so long since this was posted and it may be impossible to contact that user in question, but it looks like someone named Artem at thebreakaway.net was able to (or was very close to doing so) create a roster editor for NHL10/11 but abandoned it during those years when EA encrypted the save files and it was impossible to roster share. If I recall, you couldn't do so in 11 and 12 and it wasn't until last year that files were shareable again. Thought it might be worth reaching out to some of these people anyways though:

Either way, I will kill for this tool to actually come to fruition. I need a roster editor. I go into extreme detail editing my rosters and I like to tweak them over the year as I discover different things that work for me in game. It takes FOREVER.

From what I have read the rosters might be the same, just the saving/encryption differs...

1. The CRC algorithm has been known to him for a while
2. He's still working on the GUI
3. There are a lot of tables and fields in the database which differ slightly from year to year
4. Slow process, but at this point he's done with basic player and team attributes and the line editor
5. He still has to finish attributes and player transaction
6. It will work on versions 09-14, although one year saves were console protected, for that year you might need custom firmware

Please don't ask me or him about timelines, I just thought it would be nice to update on progress.

Just to clarify, and not to beat a dead horse.....
So far what is being worked on is for the ps3 only correct?

I'm asking because I thought Artem mentioned xbox in that thread...
