Yes, they'll be using these suggestions for the revamped project. Go ahead with the Sabres. Don't need permission to do a team, or any player, just toss out any suggestions you've got. Players, prospects, etc. As long as you're not intentionally making the players look different from real life, we'll appreciate the help.

Also, scratch my John Gibson suggestion. After looking up additional reference shots, his default face (#45) is pretty much the best we're going to get, and looks accurate enough from behind a mask.

I'm done with all teams except for ANA-CBJ + WPG. Still open to suggestions for ANY team though, as I'm not opposed to going back and hitting guys I didn't hit the first time around. Problem is, I can't make the judgement on EVERY team of who is important enough to get an update and who isn't, and I'm not going to do every single player in every system. Again, AHL, CHL, NHL, whatever. If you have a suggestion, post it up.

So does the skin tone work like it does in the create a player menu? 1 is pale white and 15 I think is darker black?

I don't think it goes on the same scale. I've only seen 1-9.

Only have ANA, BOS, BUF, CGY, CAR and WPG left. I'll update the list of edited faces later on. Rather just finish the work I'm doing first.

Unfortunately, I have workouts soon, for 2 hours, then tickets to the Islanders/Coyotes game tonight, so I'll have to get home, shower and head out for that. Might get half the remaining teams done tonight, after I get home and watch the late Rangers game, but I'll probably finish and update the list tomorrow.

I know a number of Leafs players were already done, but any chance Kadri could get changed as well? Unless he looks diff in NHL14 than 13 cause I know in NHL13 it looks nothing like him.

Well, Kadri has his real face in NHL 14. I think all the editing being done in this thread is for this years revamped rosters, but if you wanted to add Kadri's new face to NHL 13 you could use DPyro's editor.

1-9 huh. I don't know any of their values, but I think you should make Kyle Okposo, PK Subban, Wayne Simmonds, Dustin Byfuglien, Ray Emery, and Seth Jones each 1 shade lighter.

I am using the editor. What head ID is Kadri listed as then?So I can check and see if maybe something similar was in the game but they just didn't use it(since that seems to be the case also for nhl14 for some other players)

Yeah, I'm only working with NHL 14 and Kadri doesn't need an edit. I doubt Kadri is hidden in NHL 13; the only hidden faces we were able to restore were guys like Liles, Tanguay, etc. who had been in previously and were removed. Not new players.

ok heres the most accurate faces for the Sabres and their prospects. you said give all the names you want so heres the whole sabres pipeline haha.

Sorry. A little excited. I finally loaded my rosters up on my game and I nailed the whole process on the first try. Every edit works. The only thing I need to check on is whether or not the skin tones I changed took. If not, I'll have to find new faces for those players and re-edit later.

All 30 NHL teams, including any important prospects or minor leaguers, look much closer to real life in my game now.

I'll update the face list in the OP tonight while I watch some hockey.

EDIT: Skin tones didn't take so I'll spend an extra night assigning different faces to the guys who need them. I'm a little bummed; some guys only had one face that really fit and just needed a lighter skin tone. I'll update the list tomorrow night, when everything is fixed. Also, everyone seems to have blue eyes now, so I'll fix that.

EDIT: I now have a hunch that the skin color column actually controls eye color. Either it's mislabeled or it's just a mistake, but all of the players I set to skin tone 1 have light blue eyes. When I checked a player with skin tone 4, they have light brown eyes. The odd thing, however, is that I've seen skin tones ranging 1-9 but there are only 7 eye colors in the game. I'm going to test this.
