I am just rolling 10 hour trial, pro at 5 min default to see if I like game and a purchase for me or not. Also, it allows me to play more games in 10 hours in test franchise. I've really enjoyed the game so far. Using Avalanche in test, I had a 2-3 loss to ducks last night. I have only won 1 game out of 5 in reg season. If I decide to go full purchase, I will definitely roll AJ setup. Roll with that in NCAA. I wish you could figure it out for Madden. Haha.

Madden is simply under the hood issues....nothing sliders can do for AI and "Boom Tech"

I mean we got tackling in a good spot on madden with our set up....and assigning playbooks to teams is working with the running game.....It's a solid title....but CFB and NHL are my main games till next year when we start up MLB 20 again.

Great year for sports game IMO. Best in over a decade actually.....I am very happy playing away.

I am having a blast with your setup. I started on fire to start the season, especially Mackinnon. Caught up to real life date. Currently 6-1 with expansion side Utah next.

Are you seeing enough penalties? I was fine but now I've gone 3 games in a row without me having a power play.

Looking forward to it. Just had 4th game in a row with absolutely zero power plays. It doesn't make any sense. They were fine before.

Version 2.0 is now on the OP.

All we did was update our penalty settings and all credit for this goes to AlTito. I tested his latest penalty settings and they work beautifully.

The changes to penalties from V1.5 are shown in (+/-).

Trust the settings. I am getting a great variety of penalties almost every game. You will have some games that there may only be 1-2 PP per side. Most of the time depending on your play style you should see at least 2-3 per side....it has a great variety and unpredictability.

I absolutely love NHL 25 and it is now easily my favorite version of this series to date.

I don't know what magic combo you found here, especially since some penalties went down, but my first game with them played great! I got an appropriate amount of power plays for both teams. Trust the settings indeed.

This is my first new NHL game since 22 and one thing I’ve noticed is the obvious difference between a good NHL team and an ECHL team. In a play now game just to get my feet wet with these sliders I clobbered Iowa 9-0 as the Rangers. I basically could score at will while outshooting them for the game 46-9. It was exactly the game I expected to see which I feel in previous years this separation wasn’t there.

Man do I suck at this game. In the two games I’ve played I managed to pull even before the first intermission, and in the second period the computer gets lights out hot and scored 3-4 goals for in the span of a minute.

I’m sure this is partly due to using the Flyers and not knowing much about hockey strategy.

This game is really well put together, though, and makes me want to learn.

It’s well worth the effort to learn how the game is played.

I am addicted to the NHL IRL and it has made playing NHL so much better.

Is there a different way to pass than to just hold your stick in the direction of the player you want to pass to? I'm really struggling with that. Sometimes the player will just pass it to no one or pass it into the side boards. I'm especially struggling to pass with any kind of accuracy to players in front of the net. I feel like all of my goals are either slap shots from outside or rebounds. I never get a nice set up.

I notice that when I hold down the pass button, icons appear over my players but I don't understand how to use it. By the time the icons pop up my player has already passed the puck.

While holding down the trigger to bring up the passing icons press the icon of the player you want to pass it too. It is very intuitive and easy to do.

I use a combo of icon and analog passing.
