Seeing these incredible vids of NBA2K and the options it has... man, just think how good NHL2K would be if they didn't scrap it.
I'm not even a basketball fan and I will buy NBA2K from time to time.
I think hockey would be similar. NHL94 sold more than Madden.
It's a unique sport that I think even non-fans would enjoy in video game form if done properly. And an NHL equivalent to NBA2K would sell very well IMO.Comment

what exactly is this? full feature fledged NHL game with WIP-gameplay?
i read some very positive words about a franchise mode. what features does the mode have?

Here you go mate.
I believe there was a later version (089?) which was not much different, but this one was hard enough to come by. I contacted Neo directly a couple years ago but he would no longer release any versions of this mod further as it needed more work. He said he might return to it someday but as most know, his time has been spent on the 2khs lite and 25 mods these days (not really a fan of either as I don't like the 2k base game he used).
Anyhow after months of searching and inquiring I think another member here or maybe on Discord shared the mod with me. The work Neo put in recreating classic teams/players is tremendous, especially the goaltenders. Some of the gameplay/physics changes are also impressive for the most part but it can be a little janky at times. It is playable though for the most part but since there are only 21 teams you can't really play season/franchise. The "crowd" of all things can be a bit distracting, I believe it's versions of himself mostly and let's just say, not quite realistic
