Re: UT2K
Ah...for some reason, never thought to try right-clicking the link and selecting "Save As". Just clicking the link was at least trying to do something, so I assumed it was just failing out. Tool downloaded, have been playing around for a little while now!
In trying to edit a .ROS file in Dolphin for 2k11 on the Wii, it took almost no time at all to run into some issues. The exported file seems to be missing all values for the "TEAM" column, every value is left blank.
Tried to edit a single player name, but it would appear as blank in-game after importing. Re-exporting the CSV showed that the name was there, as expected...it just isn't showing in game for some reason. This seems to be hit-or-miss, because other names updated just fine.
Wondering if anyone else has run into similar problems? I could be missing a step in the process, but it seems straightforward enough-- point to .ROS file, select import/export, go.
As an aside, editing the file in Excel seemed to immediately blow up the import and corrupt the file. I can't say I'm totally surprised, Excel is an absolutely dog**** app that loves to reformat and change values and formatting in .csv files for absolutely no reason...I'd love if this site was updated enough to let me use a VGK logo as my avatar.Comment

Re: UT2K
Wish I had the energy to help you out mate, but you are a couple of years too late. Kind of abandoned this.
Pretty sure changing teams was not possible, only changing names and stats ids etc.Now go play NHL Two K!

Re: UT2K
I wasn't looking to change teams, I was just hoping it would at least dump them to make the desired roster easier to find.
There wouldn't happen to be source code for this sitting around somewhere? While I don't have direct experience in game modding or developing, I _am_ a software engineer and might be able to make sense of some things. Seems like editing stats works just fine, which is the most important thing I'm looking for...doing that by hand is beyond tedious.I'd love if this site was updated enough to let me use a VGK logo as my avatar.Comment

Re: UT2K
What would be really cool is it this app could be adapted to edit draft classes.
I've just finished a 2009-2010 roster with all the missing NHL players that are still playing or have played in recent years such as PK Subban, Victor Hedman, John Carlson, Erik Karlsson, Matt Duchene, Zach Kassian, Chris Kreider, Mike Hoffman, Erik Haula and about 20-30 more players. Most have the correct age and position. Ratings adjusted so players who made their debut in the 2009-2010 season and year after generally get played by their teams. I have found during the season sims that Victor Hedman and John Tavares seem to win the best rookie award and within a few years teams like Tampa and St Louis become power houses what we really cool and semi realistic is Red Wings seem to struggle and become a middle table side within a few seasons.
I am working on the 2010 entry draft now. My plan is to try and replay the NHL up until present day with drafts etc. A lot of work but going to be fun and I'll happily post all my files up on here one day.
This is for Xbox 360 now that the game is playable through Xenia with patch.
If I could edit the draft classes in Excel would save so much time.https://discord.gg/BeCHnu86 Project 20s 2K10 MODComment

Re: UT2K
Look in-game. If you go to a teams roster and scroll through attributes, the game has a small box that shows up what each abbreviation is. ACC is acceleration for exampleComment

Re: UT2K
I had to figure this out myself by inputting values like 1, 2, 3, 4, etc. and looking for matches. If anyone needs it, it's in this image. The first column is the abbreviation in the csv. file, and the second column is the corresponding attribute in the game (in my case NHL 2K11)
