History was made twice tonight:

1) The Flyers came from down 3-0.

2) Psyblast defended Scottdau on a thread.

Yeah, both parties flew off the handle.

Although, it's never good to take an "out of nowhere" generalized swipe at a fanbase. Never good. Scottdau, while lovable , has a tendency to not...uh...stop while ahead, if you will

My condolences to Bruins fans. All I can say is I hope Taylor Hall helps ease the pain somewhat.

Congrats to the final 4. Good luck to all teams.

P.S. Why the F isn't there a game tonight??? Both the Hawks and Sharks have been off for a month, why couldn't they play tonight???

hm OK, that sounds like about 99% of the people on here. And including you my friend. It is all good though. For the record all I said was Chris P is a dirty player, I said nothing about the Flyers as a team. And I am not only one that says he is dirty just ask the players in the NHL, they will tell you. And for the record again that is what I like about Chris he plays with a mean edge and he gets away with it.

Yeah it sucks, they should have played tonight. And a day game tomorrow what gives. We don't play day games. This is going to be a wild game tomorrow. The last time the Sharks were in the final I didn't care about hockey at all, which was fine for me when they lost, but now that I am fan man this is going to be very stressful to watch.

And shame on everyone who gave the Pens a free pass to the Stanley Cup Finals! I did not forget.

My favorite is the dude who called into WIP before both series were over and made the very strong implication that the Flyers probably would not want to win this series because they would not want to face the Penguins, probably.

That is because you are working some many hours. Also I can't leave this site, because I am working on a Doctorate now, so I am always on my Laptop this is the only sane I get. It is freaking unbelievable how much writing I have to do for this Doctorate degree. Also is the memorial Cup is that the finals for the minors?

That is because you are working some many hours. Also I can't leave this site, because I am working on a Doctorate now, so I am always on my Laptop this is the only sane I get.

Partly...and partly because OS has changed for me and the interest level in posting here isn't what it used to be. Hell, the only reason I'm posting today is that I'm sick (ruined a golf outing I had planned so I'm not happy!). Hey, I'm in front of a PC 10-12 hours most days. That's no excuse Scott! Get back to the Doctorate and quit wasting time on OS.

I am telling you; I am freaking crazy, but I like going to school believe it or not. I love learning, but this is a crazy program. Also sorry you are sick, too bad your team choked. But like I said you are still a lucky guy to have had a Super Bowl and Cup in the last 2 years. But I am starting to feel like sports are not good for me. I am now at the Stage where I just want my teams to make the playoffs, if they win it all even better, but the days where I am stress out or get bent out of shape are almost over for me. This Sharks final will be fun for me, because if they do lose at least they went farther than before.

Not gonna hijack the thread, but I felt compelled to comment 'cuz I thought I was one of the few who thought like you did (re: the forum changing)...I've been around for a while now (although I don't usually post a ton), and it used to be a lot more free-wheelin' and a place for real sports gaming fans to come and blast off on whatever. In the past few years, the whole thing has gotten a lot more...."corporate"? I don't know the word, but suddenly with the developers on here, the powers-that-be giving a certain sub-segment of posters seemingly protected status, people getting banned left-and-right, heavy censorship of posts...I don't pretend to know the challenges faced by the admins/mods as the forum exploded in popularity, but it's definitely taken on a different feel over the past few years. But whatever, c'est la vie.

Sorry you're missing a day on the links...that's always a huge bummer - nothing puts me in a worse mood (short of my sports teams losing) than having to miss out on a golf outing. You really feel like you're being cheated out of a day...
