It's also official that Marc Savard will miss the rest of the season with concussion symptoms.
I feel that this may be a premature end to his career. Hard to keep bouncing back from serious concussions.Comment

Roloson just cost the Lightning a goal against with a weak dive. That's what you get.Comment

Crazy game going on between them and Tampa right now, on Versus. Sabres down 3-1, and just tied it up at 3. Controversial, could have been goalie interference. Either way, goal stands and its a whole new ballgame.Comment

Re: The Official 2010-11 Regular Season Talk Thread
How much will the NHL let Cooke get away with? He's already messed up Savard permanently (with no punishment) and does whatever he wants every night even though he does stuff like this all the time.
This hit is so blatantly intentional and dirty that if the NHL decides Cooke is still Mr. Saint on the ice I hope fans riot.Comment

Matt Cooke should feel what it's like to receive the same kind of cheap shots and crap that he does to others.
Anyways Leafs trade Francois Beauchemin back to Anaheim for Joffrey Lupul, Jake Gardiner and a conditional 4th round pick in the 2013 draft.Member of the Official OS Bills Backers Club

4 games for Cooke?
That'll teach him....
Maybe they'll consider a lenghty suspension when he finally paralyzes or kills someone.

Tyutin knew the hit was coming and looked Cooke "right in the eyes," Penguins coach Dan Bylsma said, according to the Post-Gazette.
"It used to be you were responsible for yourself if you turned, but that's not the way anymore," Cooke said, according to the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette. "That call's been called on us four or five times this year. It's the same thing."
"He turns and looks and sees me coming. The other defenseman is slowing me down, so I'm not skating full speed," he said.Last edited by ImTellinTim; 02-09-2011, 03:42 PM.Comment
