There was no way the refs could have overturned that goal for the Caps.Originally posted by bradtxmaleI like 6 inches. Its not too thin and not too thick. You get the support your body needs.

It was pretty much identical to the goal the Red Wings scored at the end of Game 3 in Anaheim two years ago. At least these refs (even the special needs ref O'Halloran) didn't make the same mistake.Comment

Vancouver dominated that first period. That was a great save by Luongo on Campbell."You got it man. I don't watch hockey." SidVish"I thought LeBron James was just going to be another addition to help me score."

Huge save from Luongo. Vancouver was extremely physical, and used that to grasp the momentum. Coach Q made a good call in my eyes with the time out, hopefully we can come out and grab a quick one.Comment

The one ref behind the net seen the puck slip through across the line, looked like he motioned his arm for a goal and the whistle was blown after the puck crossed the line. I just didn't think they could overturn that, otherwise the crowd might have snapped lol.Originally posted by bradtxmaleI like 6 inches. Its not too thin and not too thick. what an atmosphere at the CEC tonight. i didnt know what to expect, the crowd has been so so all year. not very loud etc, but i blamed the building etc. tonight it was really loud, not Iglooish loud, but 100% better than any game at home this year!!
i dont wanna say terrible officiating, but man it was bad for both teams. interferences, slashes behind the plays etc.
Fleury was the man in this one. he kept the Pens in the game the first 25 to 30 mins, then the Pens finally got to their game so to speak and it paid off. Kovy hauled down in front of ref, gets up, gathers himself, nice pass by Neal and its in the back of the net!! then Asham just 40 some secs later!!
solid gritty game.. the Pens passing in the neutral zone etc is still horrid. turned the puck over when nobody was pressuring etc.
what a hit by Orpik on Stamos!!

Damn. Kane tried to score from behind the goal and hit it off Luongo's back only to deflect off the post. Then Brouwer passes it way too hard and outshoots Hossa on a breakaway.
It just doesn't look like Chicago's night at all."You got it man. I don't watch hockey." SidVish"I thought LeBron James was just going to be another addition to help me score."
