Oh just wait. Once Getzlaf and Perry start crashing into Rinne (literally) and they aren't called for penalties, you'll be throwing that food at the TV. Then when they actually SCORE because they mauled Rinne and poked a loose puck home, you won't have an appetite anymore.

I'm not exactly an objective bystander, but it certainly seemed like Perry was getting away with some stuff in this game. And when one of our guys finally got sick of it (Klein), we get hit with a double penalty. I don't know, maybe it was deserved... but I certainly didn't see it that way.

One nice thing about the playoffs is you play the same team over and over and over. You might not hate each other at the beginning, but by the end, there's going to be some seriously bad blood between some of the players.

In any case, glad to get a W. I think Anaheim will be much tougher on Friday with Emery in net.

Preds did a great job establishing themselves physically in the game. They didn't let Perry get away with any crap. Going to be interesting to see if he can play through all the attention Nashville is obviously going to pay to him.

<3 playoff hockey. So much better than regular season games.

Amazing goaltending on the first night by Lundqvist, Rinne and Fleury.

As suspected, the Ducks' goaltending may be their downfall. Dan Ellis played great for a period and a half, but he got totally rattled after that third goal at the end of the second period. I wouldn't be surprised if Emery starts in net for Anaheim in game two.

Despite the Blue Jackets killing my hockey loving soul, I still love the playoffs.

I think we all know the game we want to see tonight, though.

Big game one tonight for my Flyers, I am really worried about this series though. Buffalo has a history going back the last two decades of putting us out early in the playoffs. Hopefully we can hold out on D and score a bunch of goals.
