Crawford is fine, the numbers he posted this year were as good as what Niemi posted last year and Niemi had a much better team playing in front of him, flip the roles and I'd be pretty confident Niemi wouldn't look as good this year with this Hawks team as he did last year.

Would love to have him still but Crawford has played great all season with a weaker defense in front of him than Niemi had last year, and our big name dmen are playing a lot more inconsistently more breakdowns and lapses, communication seemed a lot better for them last year.

I am really looking forward to seeing him play a full season with the team next year, the little I've seen him this year he has really impressed me.

Worst case this is some great experience for him.

I disagree about your Niemi statement But if Ben Smith is the only one that can score goals that will not get them wins. The Captain has to get it going and fast or this series will be short.
