Yup - despite saying it, I'm not usually one of the fans that'll turn off games when they're losing no matter the sport or anything...I like watching the full game and get pissed when people switch because "it's already over".

    This game just feels different.

      I doubt it.

      1) He already got a 5 minute major and ejection.
      2) It's the NHL
      3) It's a Game 7 (assuming Montreal wins)
      4) It's the NHL.
      5) It's the team that has Colin Campbell's son playing for them.

I agree with you about the feel of this game but they've managed to stay in it even with the major penalty. Plus they're being aggressive offensively right now and getting decent chances. Just gotta continue to stay out of the box since the goals they allowed were both on 5-on-3 penalties.

I agree - they've done a good job staying in it and only being down 1 at the moment. Their power play, though, needs to step up. Too many chances and nothing to show for it.

Did Gomez just plow over Thomas?

Wow, I wish Chara would have scored there, just for the reaction.

Well that might do it for Buffalo.

I don't have cable so is there a site online (legal of course) that streams the playoff games?

I'm not really one to complain about refs, but these ones here tonight have not made very good or consistent calls. B's are very lucky to only be down 1 going into the 3rd. Montreal could have taken control of this game a long time ago with all the power plays they've had.

But you're also right about the Bruins power play, they're actually last in the NHL with a man advantage since the Kaberle trade. Last I heard (which was before Game 5) they were 9% on the PP in that span of time. Must be lower than that by now.

Pretty sure they're 0-for-18 or 19 now in this series on the powerplay.

Hopefully they switch things up if they get another one at any point in this game.

It would be absolutely absurd if he were suspended for game 7. Spacek turned into the glass. Lucic didn't charge him, he didn't hit him in the head, there was no elbow.

Yeah, it looked bad, but it shouldn't have even been a misconduct, and sure as hell shouldn't be a suspension. 5 minute boarding major? Yes. Misconduct? No.

Not exactly a recipe for playoff success is it?

I'm curious about this as well, since the Blackhawks game is on VS tonight and being as it starts in 1 hour and the Philly/Buffalo game still has 10 mins left in the 2nd period there is no way the Hawks game starts on time.

This same thing happened in game 1 and I missed the entire first period which sucked, but since its the national game on VS they black it out on Center Ice.

Well after the quick whistle which cost Montreal a goal early I don't see why anyone would be surprised at the fact most calls seem to be going in Montreal's favor, thats a big mistake and they are probably doing what they can to help make up for the fact.
