    Apparently the Jets are a good team! Three in a row over Tampa, Washington, and Philly. I'm not expecting anything monumental this season, but to make the playoffs, or even just being a competitive team the entire season would be nice.

    BTW, I posted this in OT yesterday but figured I would share here as well. I'll be going to the Jets game vs Phoenix December 1st, and to top it off I'll be sitting behind the Coyotes' bench.

    I couldn't find tickets online yesterday morning for any of the marquee games in December, but Phoenix (or any game really) was just as good for me, let alone being able to sit so close.

    It's hard to even find words to describe my excitement. I didn't even think I'd be going to a game this year or even next year because of how difficult it is to get tickets, but I got very lucky and now I'm just counting the days.

        Cool beans, dude. Glad they were able to get a team up there in Winnipeg. How has the first part of the season been up there? Still crazy?

        Jets & Flyers put up goals when they get together this year.

            Yep. Still crazy. You can't walk 5 minutes without seeing a Jets shirt, sweater, jersey, car flag, etc.

            And I'm expecting the Coyotes coming to town to double that craziness as well. From what I hear and what I've seen on TV, the atmosphere is crazy every home game, but I can't imagine what it's going to be like having the old Jets vs the new Jets. Should be nuts.

                Caps are shopping Alex Semin. UFA this year and I'm guessing he'll play in KHL next year.

                    The HNIC panel talked a bit about that. One of the panelists said the Caps would gladly call up a cab and drive him to the airport just to get rid of this guy.

                                Wild are intriguing this year.

                                I don't feel like they should be the number 1 team in the entire league, but by god, they are

                                Heatley and co. need to pick it up a little bit. I feel like we should be scoring more goals.

                                Hopefully we can keep up the solid play, though!

                                            Even though I don't like Pittsburgh, the league needs stars like Crosby on the ice to capture casual sports fans' interest.

                                                    definitely good to get crosby back on the ice. not a fan of him or the pens obviously but don't like stars having careers cut short for any reason.

                                                            This is so big that HNIC is going to cover the game. The last time the CBC did an all-american game (with the exception of Winter Classic and playoffs) was when Gretzky retired.

                                                            I just hope Crosby can play the whole game without incident.
