Personally, I think it would make them an instant title contender, and it could start a culture of Minnesota kids wanting to play for their home state once they reach the NHL.University of Minnesota Golden Gopher Hockey

Really enjoying Minnesota. They were the team I tried attaching myself to in my initial foray into hockey. Didn't work out bc this was before streams and expanded NHL coverage so it was tough to get hooked.Comment

I've got a soft spot for Minnesota and I'm not afraid to admit it. They're my Western Conference team.I love the colors, jerseys, atmosphere, everything. And they're relatively new and far away from the Flyers.
P.S. Claude Giroux is the man. So glad to see him completely break out this year and get some love from the media. Dude is freakin' electric! He's like what we wanted Mike Richards & Jeff Carter to be, combined. Amazing talent.
Oh yeah: Malkin tries to take off Giroux's head.

Bruins are playing the Blue Jackets. Hopefully they can pull of a nice win after losing two games in a row. I'd like to see them come out of the game with at least one point. We'll see what happens, I think they'll be able to pull of the win tonight.Comment

I think so too. And it's not like the Panther's are a slouch team for the first time in a long time, they had what 40 shots in that game? Just didn't get any bounces, I thought they played well vs Florida and deserved a better fate.Comment

Correct. There is no defense for the roads. I've been wanting something different for awhile. But there's no way the Wild will ever wear the North Stars logo. That will open some wounds. The only people you see wearing that around here are the younger kids because it's "retro".Comment

Well, aside from Gagner himself, I suppose (he's director of player development for the Canucks).Originally posted by Thrash13Dr. Jones was right in stating that. Agreed. I would like to see Seguin get a few points tonight. He's been relatively quite lately, it would be nice to get him going again.Comment
