Re: The Official 2011-12 Regular Season Talk Thread
We are still in the first period but this Canucks vs. Bruins game is well on my way to being my favorite game of the season so far.
I'm watching on NESN and Edwards is trashing the Canuck players non-stop. Edwards has to be the biggest homer play by play guy in the NHL.Comment

I've heard Edwards for years. I know a lot of people hate him but I like him. He cracks me up with his long rants and extreme homer bias.Comment

If he wasn't with Comcast I'd love to see Mike Felger doin hockey games. Felger and Mazz show is pure gold and definetly enjoy him and all the comcast sport shows, he definetly is not afraid to speak his mind.Comment

Even as a Canuck fan, I find Edwards amusing. It's Pittsburgh's Steigerwald I really can't stand.Originally posted by Thrash13Dr. Jones was right in stating that. One thing I'm pretty sure Bruins and Canucks fans can agree on: wouldn't it have been fun if 24/7 had led up to this game?Originally posted by Thrash13Dr. Jones was right in stating that. Two terrible non-calls there (both should've been Canuck penalties).
The icing probably should've been called, but Schneider's got to assume it's not.Originally posted by Thrash13Dr. Jones was right in stating that. Salo's probably the only player in the league who could injure himself by faking an injury.Originally posted by Thrash13Dr. Jones was right in stating that. Vancouver is undefeated (19-0-0) when leading after 2 periods.
Not looking good for Boston.Comment

Meh. Six Bruins goals, Canucks fighting Boston fans in the stands, Luongo making an appearance in net, somebody getting killed with a trident - nothing that occurs in the 3rd period would surprise me. Maybe if there were no penalties called.Originally posted by Thrash13Dr. Jones was right in stating that.
