Marchand's been suspended a whole once his whole career. And fined once 2,500 for a slewfoot on Matty Niskanen. But yeah I guess that compares to guys like Cooke and Ott who cheapshot every chance the get.

Blackhawks have acquired center Brendan Morrison from Calgary for minor league defenseman Brian Connelly.

Decent move. It fills a void and they didn't give up much for him.

2017 is the Leafs' (and the NHL's) 100th anniversary season. That one's a lock.

I have a feeling Nashville will get one once the new downtown convention center is completed in 2013. It will allow the city to house more people directly downtown instead of having to book a hotel 30 minutes up the interstate like they do now for big events.

Wild picking up where they left off before the break. Heats has had 3 points in 2 of the last 3 games now. When he's on a hot streak, he's known as Heats. The other 80% of the season, he is known as ****ing Heatley.

Sabres actually win in regulation? Without Vanek for the majority of the game? Without Adam who was inexplicably scratched?

Miller played very well today and Leino actually did something.

Let's see if they can beat the best in the East tomorrow.
