It's probably a Comcast issue. I didn't have a problem watching the game on CNBC via DirecTV.Comment

Re: The Official 2012 Stanley Cup Playoffs Thread
Not sure what to make of this story:
While the Vancouver Canucks dropped their opening-round playoff game to Los Angeles, the Twitter universe was buzzing after a one-line message on the Kings' Twitter page.
I know there's sort of an East Coast - West Coast thing in Canada (similar to the U.S.), and pretty much everyone hates Quebec, but I didn't realize the 'Nucks were so disliked in Canada. I'd be interested to hear what our friends in the Great White North think (not necessarily about the tweet, which was stupid, but re: whether everyone outside BC hates the Canucks?)...
Canucks aren't a particularly likeable team. Leafs, Oilers, Flames stink and have been punching bags for the Canucks over the last 5 years. Cool by me. I just don't want to be lectured on "class" and "honour" by a fan base that deifies Darcy Tucker.
This whole "gotta root for a Canadian team" thing is a relatively recent phenomenon anyway, brought on by no Cups in almost 20 years. When I was growing up, my most hated teams were Edmonton, Calgary, and Montreal, so I don't begrudge the fans their bitterness.
And I don't know anyone who hates Quebec. Quebec politics, sure, but I hate pretty much all politics. Passionate hockey fans, good beer, poutine, hot women. Quebec's got a lot more going for it than some places.Originally posted by Thrash13Dr. Jones was right in stating that. The automatic "puck over glass" penalty has to go. Call it the same as an icing (offending team can't change) and allow the refs the leeway to call a penalty if they judge it to be a blatant way of relieving pressure.Originally posted by Thrash13Dr. Jones was right in stating that.
